[Discussion] Looking back at the 3rd Hokage vs the 1st and 2nd...

...it's kind of hard to believe the 1st could stand up against the Madara we just seen kick some major ass in chapter 601. I mean I've seen cut scenes of their battle on Youtube and they looked well matched. But the fight he put up with the 3rd, taking into the fact the 1st triple teamed him seems like either Kishi underrated him in that fight, or Madara is overpowered currently. Not to mention Madara said to Tsunade she is probably physically more powerful than the 1st after making short work with her. Is it just me?

Kishimoto actually said Orochimaru's edos were perfected. I honestly think it alll chalks up to Part I - Part II power gaps. Back then, he still wanted a story about shinobi, not Saiyans.
