Well before we start, i need some water, walk with me and listen as I get the particulars out the way.

Great! Before we start let me inform you that my teaching style is a bit different. Mainly I will be going through the jutsu list as I see fit for your training. However it will not be in order as you see it. You will not be performing each jutsu, as all you are doing is reading the description of the jutsu and rewording how you would perform it. I want you to have a basic concept and principal of how to use these jutsu and apply them when you have a battle. The goal is for you to understand the concept, so that you have a better understanding how it works. This is a give and take situation where I will require you to ask me any questions that you might have. If you do not ask question then this training will be pointless for you and for myself. So I ask you to ask questions whenever you have a question, it is an important part of my training. This training style is not meant to be fast, there is no point in rushing through the training. If I feel that you do not have the grasp of a certain concept with this training then I will ask you to do same thing over. So do not be discouraged, I want you to be able to understand what is going on, this is almost a mix of elemental training and battle training put together.
Another note! I briefly mentioned that you will not be performing the jutsu itself, which means I will describe them for you, show you whats going on. We will discuss how to use such jutsu within our battle system here on NB. Situations and concept of how you would use it, it is vital that you understand how it works and when to use it, how to defend as well as creating a strategy. Therefore you would become a better rper. This is more or less like a discussion type training, so please pay attention to what I am asking of you. If you do not understand, ask!
Lastly, If you have not noticed yet, I am a moderator on the base. My time is not too limited, though it will be at times. I ask you please do not vm/pm me about replying to training as I have all the training threads subscribed. I will know when you have replied and I will do so when I have the time. Because of my duties in real life, I have set out a training schedule which I think it’s fair to both you and I. I will post my replies mostly on Tuesday through Thursday, while I will use Monday and Friday for me to have what I call “fun day” for myself. I usually do not log in during the weekends. What I am saying is just expect replies on Tuesdays and Thursdays, I might reply on Mondays and Fridays as well but that is not a guarantee. My GMT is -5, this is just to inform you of my online time. Let me know if you agree!

What is Ninjutsu?
Ninjutsu is basically techniques the user does by doing certain hand seal. However, there are some that don't require hand seals. The usual side effect is that by using it, it takes away chakra, depending on how powerful it is. Advanced ninjutsu take away more chakra than basic ninjutsu's.
Ninjutsu's can be used for either defensive or offensive purposes.

What is Chakra?
Chakra is a type of energy that all naruto character have inside of them. However, They do not all have the same amount of it inside of them. It is something everyone produces to a certain amount of degree. It depends on how physically fit they are. For e.g.; Sasuke has more chakra and more stamina than choji, because choji is less physically fit than Sasuke. The amount of chakra you have is also determines how long you can keep going. In some cases, like a jinjuriki, there stamina is increased dramatically, due to having a living bijuu with massive amount of chakra inside of them. For e.g; naruto will be able to last longer than yamato, because naruto is the Nine tail Jinjuriki.
What is Raiton/Lightning?
Lightning -also known as Raiton in Narutoverse- is an element from the 4 other elements.
What are the Weakness / Strengths of the Raiton element?
Lightning is weak against Wind and strong against Earth. It is strong against earth because it can cut through it.
What are other basic elements in Narutoverse?
Other than light, the other 4 elements are, wind, water, fire, and earth.
Fire is stronger than wind, but weak against water.
Earth is stronger than water, but weak that Lightning.
Lightning is strong against earth but weak against wind
Wind is strong against lightning but weak against Fire
Water is strong against fire and weak against earth.

Alright as you might already know, Lightning, is very fast. I mean the jutsu's are essentially faster than all other elements. It's deadly and it is also powerful. When you hear a lightning strike from the clouds, you can hear it's desctructive power. Also, eventhough it's deadly, it can also paralize a person when struck. Certain types of jutsu's will only be meant to shock another person so that you can gain an opening.

Look at the sky, the whole time we were talking and walking, I have added my chakra into the sky to turn into a stormy/cloudy weather. A lightning strike can and will strike at any time. Meditate, tell me everything you feel, I'll be back in a few mins.!!!

Alright.
I look at the gloomy sky.
I then sit down, close my eyes and Meditate. In my mind, i gather all the thoughts and put it in a small box. Once i have cleared my head, I think about Lightning and only Lightning. I think about it's properties and attributes. This helps me get in the mood. I become one with Lightning. Then, when i've done this, i feel the power coming from the sky. I also hear the sound it makes.
*A lightning bolts crashes down from the sky! Happens almost instantly, though it didn't hit you, it hits the area right next to you. Though there is a visible scene of blood coming from your left cheek from sheer force and brute power.*
One with lightning eh????? How did that feel? Explain!! and meditate some more!!!!!!!!!~~~~~

As i meditate, i suddenly hear a loud thunderous noise. My body jumps in shock and shudders. Hair on the back of my head stand straight. I guess it hit somewhere near by. Suddenly i feel a sharp pain and blood on my left cheek. Terrified, i don't dare move, so i continue to Meditate some more.

Alright, It's sound!
Think about it, whenever you use lightning jutsu's, Sound is going to be there. If you lose track of you're opponent and they attack you using lightning, most cases you will hear it. Though not all cases. Just keep that in might when you think you are in a bind when battling.

How to Attack:
Distract or block the opponents sight and shoot a bolt of lightning at the opponent
How to Defend:
Doesn't do much defending.
How to Counter:
You could use a jutsu from it's elemental weakness. What i mean is you can use a wind jutsu to neutralize it.
Advantages
Quick and easy to use. When used at the right time at the right place, it could pose a threat.
And can be combined with fire or water jutsu's, increasing it's power.
Disadvantages:
Could be blocked easily.
Can be used against you. E.g.; If you do the jutsu, your opponent can do a a C rank or above water jutsu. The water jutsu would overpower the lightning jutsu, and when it does this, the water becomes electrified. So basically then, you haven't deal with just one jutsu from one element, but a combination of 2 elements that go well with each other.
Combinations:
Can combine it with water or fire jutsu.

How to Attack: It's Pretty easy to counter against, so i would suggest that the opponent should be distracted before hand.
How to Defend: Could break some D rank earth techs, but other than that i don't see how it would defend.
How to Counter: The opponent could use C+ Fire or water jutsu's.
Advantages Like i said with the other one, it could pose a problem if the opponent has let there guard down.
Disadvantages: Same with other.
Combinations: Can be used well with water or fire jutsu's.
