Itachi lied about Jiraiya taking him to his limit.

last time I checked, nagato was able to overcome the strongest genjutsu because of his 6paths. only the paths where affected and nagato himself is not. I bet if itachi was caught into it he will not be able to break free aswell.
and where does it state that nagato's weakness is genjutsu? is it just because he was affected by the frog song means that overall he is weak against genjutsu? lol logic fails.
if that is so, then itachi's weakness is genjutsu aswell since we all saw he was affected by tayuya's genjutsu and he can't break it himself, he still asked for sasuke's help.
if anyone will be owned here within 2mins its itachi, once nagato uses CT, itachi has no way to stop it by himself.

itachi's chakra level sux compared to other uchiha. SM jiraiya would win IMO. and against madara or hashirama.... i dont think so. U_U

You realize he got caught in genjutsu twice right. Its not about what they have, its about how well they use them and Nagato sucks at using his rinnegan. Thats my point.
If kishi wanted itachi to be stronger then jiraiya, pain etc. he wouldn't have done what he did in the manga. It's his manga, so if he hints at jiraiya above itachi you should believe him. Why? Maybe because he created the manga? People like you say " oh he has this and that, so he's unbeatable because there's no way for him to get around it ". Wrong, why? Cause kishi would make them get around it.

Proof is in the pudding, Nagato's body is jacked b/c he couldnt control his balls powers. Itachi's is degenerative he has no choice. Nagato had a choice got to emo got f00ked up.

He got caught by Jiraya sound genjutsu which is the confirmed strongest Genjutsu in the manga.Its like saying Itachi is weak to Genjutsu because he got trapped in Tayuya sound Genjutsu which is significantly weaker then Jirayas

Concerning Obito, its basically a 4 round fight.
First you have to deal with 6 Edo Bijuus who have shared vision and can predict your movements. Then you have to deal with their tailed beast forms. Then you have to fight a Gedo Mazo. After that, you have to deal with a 100% Obito with Rinnegan, Izanagi and his S/T technique which Itachi has no counter to.
Given Itachi's chakra levels, he probably won't get past the 6 Edo Bijuus.

No its, perspective. If you consider all he's done. He wanted to die going unsung I just refuse to not say what needs to be said about his character. Itachi was a Kage class ninja and top 3 of all time in Naruto only to Naruto and Sasuke. He failed at everything he did but his final lesson learned put him over and he saved the whole world. Naruto World that is.
