I really do not understand what the problem is with Tobi being Obito. Plot holes!? Really?? It is a on going story there is plenty of time to explain. Now for the real kicker why in the world was Obito introduce in the first place? HELLO!! Did all of you really believe they just wanted to talk about some kid that died just for the heck of it! Come on people, hair, face, eyes matching that have the same dimensional abilities, the obvious fact that his character was introduced early in the series. I rest my case.

Still have a point: may or may not. You said in the post previous to this one maybe Kakashi would do the talk no jutsu. It's my strong suppositoin that, in this moment, Kakashi is emotionally dead. Just the mere supposition that Tobi could be Obito distract him from the fight enough to be reprimended by Gay (oh, Lord, that seemed to be impossible to happen!). The shure knowledge that he is Obito may kill him inside. Of course that could have exactly the opposite storyline, making Kakashi want to kill Obito out off hatred...

There is also a huge factor that will separate both of them: Rin, whom Obito loved, who loved Kakashi and the other person who Kakashi wasn't able to protect. That's too much both of them have to settle.

No, there's only one way this ends. Obito must be defeated. And maybe Kakashi has to die before that. We must get ready for any plausible hypothesis...

However, there is a small chance, really small, that you are right. But probably, we won't see Naruto or Kakashi do the talk... If someone would convince Obito, I would bet on Gay!

True too, but it's so chronologically incorrect it's not funny...
If Obito knew Madara, he would be over 100+ years old at the time, since
the third by then was starting to get really old. He transplanted the Rinnegan to Nagato before his death, which was also before Obito was even born. There's nothing adding up, atm. Controlling Yagura, also before he was born..
And apparently only Obito has the unique Kamui or else current Madara would be using it against the Kage. I know I would. Lmaooo

But forreal though.. Obito in a 13 month period now 14 years old, became a grown man & had his MS activated, when it took him his death day just to activate it. And suddenly had alllllll the knowledge of the Clans' lineage, control of Kurama & immense chakra? May I repeat ALL IN ONE YEAR :sy: Kishi has too much to explain to completely tie this up, but I hope to God he proves me wrong.

Kamui doesn't bend time.... It's a different dimension jutsu. If he could mess with time, he would've been bending time to his will. Your theory still explains nothing. Madara had already passed the Rinnegan to Nagato, and that was before Obito was even born, so he had to have died around that time... I know I wouldn't give up my eyes if I knew I was still gonna stay alive.

I like your theory I +rep'd you for it. But still in the end, it's not proven in the manga itself. I still don't think he would've activated the MS in 13 months either, when the day he died he just had activated a 2 tomoe Sharingan. Thinking about it is just destroying my head. xD

here's my opinion.

maybe tobi is just 'someone' who took obito's face or eye.
(i can't wait for the explanation in next chapter)

it is impossible in every way.
obito is supposed to be the same age as kakashi.
yet, in naruto 502, tobi was illustrated as a grown man fighting on par with the yondaime(obito's teacher) while kakashi and gai was still in their teen age (16+ years old)

plus, even it it's a miracle.
obito was way inferior to kakashi and yet in few years(neglecting the time he needed to recover from the stone crash), he was on the same level as the yondaime.
the sealing technique, able to control kyuubi, know about uzumaki clan and even know when the kushina's seal at its' weakest.

Tobi being Obito doesn't make sense. According to what tobi said to sasuke after Itachi died the 3rd ninja war happened when Itachi was 4 years old. Obito died at that time. Itachi is 5 years older than Naruto and Sasuke. So, Obito attacked the village in the day Naruto was born one year after his supose dead at Kannabi bridge.
In a year he completely changed his mind, he became able to measure forces with a ninja like Minato, and control the Kiuuby. An also hae was shorter than Minato and became as tall as him in a year... Tobi can´t be Obito. There are too many inconsistencies.

Lol true. Idk how, but at the least, after that 1 year period it was his eye present in the fight against minato, and it was ms.

kay i think you can explain it quite reasonable:
first of all he showed us a flashback of obitos life, so it would be unlikely, that its not obito.
then the uprising questions:
1.how did obito regenerated so fast
2.how did obtibo obtain so much informations about madaras life
3.how did he know so much about the old world und the uchiha-clan secrets
4.how did he grown so strong in such small amount of time?
5.then who gave nagato his sharingan, cause obito wasnt alive or still very young
6.who controlled the mizukage
7. who did his attitude to life/peace changed
its quite obvious that he need some kind of sensei to achieve all this things, so we can assume that madara was still alive, cause he was the one who gave nagato the rinnegan. so madara and zetsu helped him to regenerate, then he learned all things from madara, and awoke his mangekyou and gets then the eternal mangekyou, okay thats not hard to explain.
okay then the timeline question: he seemed like an adult when he fought the 4th, okay you can say he grew in the time between the fight and his death, but it would be too vague to say that. you can say that his kamui functions like the time chamber in dragonball, the time pass very fast in the other dimension, thats why he can teleport himself, cause he travels the long way in the other dimension but the time doesnt really pass in the real dimension.
then you can say when he awakened his kamui he could train much longer and grow stronger and then he is physically older than the others too.
i think the turning point, which will explain his change of attitude, will be the death of rin. maybe was madara manipulating his mind too, and turned then evil like anakin in star wars.
madara dies, tobi grow his long hair, and takes the role in the world as madara, controlling the mizukage and helping itachi to eliminate the uchihas.

other theories that would work: its all a genjutsu (kishi troll); somebody other than obito is in his body(madara/madaras mind(would be too very plausible), izuna etc.); orochimaru helped him(very unlikely), cause we would have new plot holes.
so guys chill, kishi has all possibilitys to explain things
