Tobirama and Hashirama Senju Equals?

Everyone hold up,now I'm not saying Tobirama was in my word a Sakura(a useless and a wasted of a ninja).He was a great ninja and Hokage,but I still he was no where near Hashirama's level.

Calm down sir. While we don't know the names of the ninja that killed Tobirama, Tobirama was assumed to be killed by 20 Kumogakure...those are not fodder ninja. Those are 20 ninja trained and mastered in the art of bounty hunting. Tobirama was killed by 20 other ninja who were trained to do nothing else but kill. While I personally don't believe Tobirama was as strong as Hashi, I also don't think he was that much weaker than him.

Also, Tobirama is still a senju, so I'm sure he had tailed beast supressing abilities as well, and probably knew some decent sealing techniqes (Doesn't Edo Tensei involve some type of contract seal?) We also don't know if Madara had perfect Susanoo when he fought Hashi, that's a baseless assumption. I think Tobirama could've given Madara a pretty good fight, all though he would've lost I'm sure.

theres no way he is better,and not equal to hashirama, but he is close really close in my opinion U_U, now hashi is a monster but he also has special abilities like controlling bijus, but in order for him to stand his ground and handle a battle of that level so well (winning) against madara and the kyubi it means that he is on top and the only way any one can beat him is by stealing god like power. still i would like to think tobirama was close, being hashirama's brother and hiruzen's master means he was strong

Linear Un-Logic-al thinking is bad. Might as well go sit in the corner.

Both achieved the same things in different manners. Hashirama had Mokuton to wipe the map clean, Tobirama had Edo Tensei. Furthermore, just because Mokuton is badass, it doesn't mean it's any better than a Suiton on the level of Tobirama's. To create life takes infinitely more chakra than to use some Suiton techniques.

Hashirama had Byakagou Regeneration, and Tobirama had S/T.

Basically different sides of the same coin.

I believe we will learn quite a bit more about Tobirama and Izuna coming up in the near future.

Lol yes Izuna did compete with Madara....when they were kids...to get stronger. Nothing was ever said of his power in comparison to Madara when he grew up (this answers to OPs question also). Izuna's only hypes are being Madara's brother and giving his eyes away without a fuss

Yea that was the sarcasm in my statement lol. We all know Sakura can't last a second against Izuna, but in the manga.....remember just purely the manga I'm talking about, Sakura has had more hype/publicity/etc. Just saying there are lots of characters who get overly hyped and really good ones that get hardly any hype at all. I still think Hashi>Tobirama though an extreme amount

Your whole argument is flawed. Not to mention that this guy's Edo Tensei is by far the weakest. He could have been reviving people without their original abilities for all we know.

In any case, we don't have enough info to make a conclusion, however, from what we know Hashirama > Tobirama without a doubt. As I said, if you think otherwise, slap yourself, and stop reading Naruto.

You clearly didn't understand what I wrote anyways. I said as brothers, they're equal in the same way Madara and Izuna were equal. They've been together their whole lives, so Tobirama is bound to come up with counters to Hashirama's techniques. Going off hype from FTG and Tobi's S/T technique, his own S/T technique was probably no joke. Of course this is my opinion and there's no manga pages to back this up but again, bring me some manga pics showing some of EMS Madara and Hashirama feats. I never stated that Tobirama had the strongest Edo tensei either, but going by the hype from Madara, it was used to wipe the map clean.

Oh yeah concerning Tobirama's and Hashirama's death, it says in the first databook that Hashirama died on the battlefield due to the choatic era shortly after he founded the village.
