Is Kakashi now stronger than Itachi?

Stop asking the silliest questions. Kakashi cn never consume an entire susanoo with kamui. He was weakened only consuming 1 susanoo arrow of Sasuke. Itachi would just have to cast 1 tsukyomi nd its over.

Tobi has mastered Kamui on a whole different level than Kakashi has. If it was as simple as Kamui-ing Itachi in the face to win, Tobi would have done it himself years ago. I still believe that Itachi would defeat Kakashi.

- Faster Handseals
- Superior Genjutsu
- Superior Shurikenjutsu
- Not to mention his OP MS abilities...

Also, Itachi could simply put him a basic Genjutsu and finish him there and then... just because Kakashi's better with Kamui doesn't mean he can take on Itachi...

-why would that even matter?! if itachi uses hand seals kakashi would copy everything including the speed and besides that kakashi is faster doing handseals (kakashi vs naruto and sakura in the 1st episodes of shippuden).

Kakashi is better at ninjutsu...
Itachi is much better at genjutsu(IMO kakashi can overcome small genjutsus because of his own sharingan, reason why Itachi ALWAYS tried Tsukiyomi on Kakashi)...
Kakashi is a lot better at taijutsu, no explanation should be required...
Both have mastery over sharingan usage and have MS...
Itachi's amaterasu especially isn't going to hit Kakashi coz he needs time in which Kakashi can finish him several times...
Tsukiyomi: the only complete upper hand of Itachi, IMO deadliest genjutsu but as OP said they had knowledge on each other, so Kakashi can pull counter-measures...
Susano'o: I don't think Itachi relies much on his Susanoo coz it drains too much of his strength and it isn't even going to stop Kamui, Kamui isn't a physical attack that travels like amaterasu and hit the target where Kamui is literally used at the exact point of focus...which will simply warp away Itachi's head...

please people lets not get ahead of ourself there is a huge diffrence between itachi and kakashi. i think kakashi isn even close to it. kakashi is only superior in the amount of jutsu's but itachi's ms jutsu can easily overpower kakashi's. this isn even a challenge lol.

in almost every aspect itachi overpowers kakashi. just don't use kamui as an excuse cause its possible one shot . not sure how kakashi will handle genjutsu lets stand amaterasu and susanoo+ 2 legendary weapons. besides that itachi can also ka him.

I got to say itachi.
Itachi is a child progidy he is literally one of a kind if he did not have a disease and managed to live longer he would have been pretty powerful.

Kakashi is good but that limit on his kamui is pretty demanding although it is an ace and he does seem to be able to use it more.
Kakashi is probably one of the best of his generation and he is seeming to pull reserves in this manga and he is pretty damn cunning but yeah Itachi is on a whole different level

when itachi and kakashi met kakashi got owned and what has changed since then? itachi gained susanoo and izanami. wut has kakashi gained kamui which i dont think would work on susanoo because itachi has the mirror which blocks all ninjutsu. so wut then? honestly kakashi is as tough as anyone but itachi is easily the best next to naruto sasuke madara and bee and i guess tobi although all his strength is borrowed but wutever. and if you count edo tensei as kabutos power well hes better too(itachi already owned him with plot no jutsu but a one on one is differant) but after them no one is gonna beat itachi.. no one. oro would solo most dudes and couldnt even come close to itachi

If Kakashi didnt look at Itachi, he wouldnt be able to use kamui and target Itachi with it...If he wants to warp something,he will have to look at Itachi,and eye contact is inevitable (or even without eye contact, Itachi can use finger genjutsu the moment Kakashi sets his eyes on his body). Kakashi is about 10 years older than itach (proven), but yet itachi out matched him a few times already (and it wasnt even 1v1 fight yet itachi was never injured) ex. itachi vs kurenai, asuma and kakashi vs itachi and then anruto and kakashi vs itachi. kisame admitted itachi was strong, and itachi admitted he wasnt even using half his str fighting kakashi and asuma and kurenai. even Tobi admitted that "itachi never seizes to amaze him"

itachi is an uchiha prodigy, he was in ROOT ANBU while still in his young teens. kakashi had just become jounin in his young teens.

itachi is was diseased, so it affected his stamina greatly, if not for this restraint he would be REAL O.P

itachi developed and mastered his sharingan (to MS) by the age of 8

Itachi has 2 rasengans, with MS, advanced susano'o, amaterasu, izanagi, izanami, he has shisui's eye, tsukuyomi, his genjutsu was so beast he would point at you or just stare at u nd u already fall into it. he has way more skills than this.

itachi easily scared off orochimaru. when no one in konoha was able to do shit to him.

the only thing in kakashi's side is Kamui which is hard to catch an opponent with bcs it takes concentration and time. (seen when he uses it on deidara when they were rescuing gaara)

also kakashi is a copy ninja

but no chance versus a prodigy such as itachi, kakashi was surpassed by his students, including sasuke, yet itachi defeated sasuke at his full strength (he only died from his disease and he never actually meant to kill sasuke only make it seem so) and kakashi couldnt even stop sasuke while he was already weak from fighting samurais, the kages, danzo....

Hmmm... Any top tier ninja can theoretically beat any other top tier ninja in a given situation. However, there are many variables to consider in this particular match up. If Kakashi goes first and he kamuis Itachi, ok - game over. But if he misses or is tricked into hitting a decoy then he won't be able to recover fast enough to stop a likely fatal counterattack. This is the reason that Kakashi uses it PRIMARILY as a defensive tool.

Before I get blasted that based on the Tobi fight, Kakashi's stamina has improved and he wouldn't stagger that much - I agree that his stamina has increased. But he still staggers after using it. The only reason Tobi hasn't been able to take advantage of that stagger is because it's a 4v1 fight, not 1v1.

Anyway, pretty much this entire argument comes down to the success or failure of kamui correct? They've both been shown to be outrageously resourceful and are both tactical fighters. However, giving full knowledge gave Itachi a massive advantage. If he can pull a decoy and force the kamui to absorb something else or somehow manage to dodge kamui (a dodge is unlikely but I technically can't say impossible) then the win is Itachi's for the taking.

Please note this argument is based on the premise that Kakashi gets off his attack first. If this is not the case a plethora of other variables enters the mix.

All of you people who are so amazed at Itachi are forgetting when he was using he best OP techniques he was an edo....izanami would blind him in one eye.....when he fought sasuke amaterasu fuqd his eye up,he cnt sustain susanoo for very long his stamina is crap his only chance is tsukiyomi and im not sure kakashi couldnt just break tsukiyomi...all of itachis great feats while he was alive physically messed him up..he never full on fought with anyone while he was alive but 3 tomoe sasuke and we saw what happened then although he let sasuke win he didnt exactly look fresh after using all those techniques

Izanami only works on bad guys. e.g. Kabuto.
