Itachi and Nagato.

What I'd like to start off by saying is, is that this thread is NOT a versus thread, but rather, a thread in which we can discuss Itachi's and Nagato's abilities and compare them. I for one believe that Itachi > Nagato overall, and can beat him easily. With his Genjutsu alone he could cause huge problems to Nagato and finish him off right there.

Itachi wins solely because of his Genjutsu. If Nagato is caught in his paralysis Genjutsu it's game over...​

Nagato > Itachi. He has counters for everything Itachi has whilst the reverse doesn't, Nagato can also defeat a lot more people than Itachi.

Nagato can just send his summons out to burn most if not all of Itachi's chakra reserves which are fairly low. He wouldn't be able to deal with them without resorting to ms.

Nagato mastered Yin release when he was 10. Yin release is the main part of genjutsu. You think he will lose to mere paralysis genjutsu? Itachi's fanbase is so stupid.

Nagato may have stronger Jutsu's than Itachi, but Itachi is smarter than Nagato.

Besides Itachi sealed Nagato he would be able to do that to Nagato in a 1v1 fight aswell, Nagato didn't even have the time to dodge the Sword of Totsuka because it was too fast...
