Edo Tensei

Why do you guys tend to see "Edo tensei" as apart of one's own power?:shrug: For example madara, He would be no where near as powerful as he is now if it were not for kabuto & orochimaru, better yet he wouldn't even be revived. You guys speak of him as if he orginally had all this chakra and hashi's cells & mokuton. . .

You guys keep saying edo madara this and edo itachi that, I guess what im trying to say is please disclude the properties of edo tensei and just focus on the prime of the character when they were alive because edo tensei and its properties are not apart of their arsenal and anything accomplished during edo state is usually irrelavent and pointless then if they were alive due to them spamming and using edo tensei's regeneration & Unlimited chakra.

Please don't compare alive shinobi to dead shinobi, they are dead for a reason. . .

I know. I was coming in here thinking this thread was "Edo Tensei isn't part of the caster's power". Sooooooo, I just had to say that.

How do you think their planning to deal with that (highlighted part in your post) re: Edo... in storm 3?

Exactly! everywhere i go its edo madara this and edo madara that, Im like dude seriously?! madara is dead and is fused with one of the most powerful shinobi from history. . .

Edo tensei is just like any other summoing jutsu.

Summons add towards a ninja's Total strength, so does edo tensei.

Yes i agree edo does not reflect their real power but what if their plan was to become edo, as madara implies was his plan minus hashi dna( which madara took himself) that kabuto added, i think madara made a plan of being brought back as an edo so would it count toward his strength?

But appearently they weren't infused until after his death, Also madara would have been drained of chakra after he used those meteorite's and made all them wood clones. . .

Still even if one planned to become edo, which is never the case because no one plots with death, but still even if, edo tensei properties does not originally belong to that character.

I agree with everything except the bolded, i believe that infusing those cells let him gain the Rinnegan.
