I think tobi is the brother of madara. As he know so much about madara and hidden leaf. He cannot use Susano as his eyes borrowed same as kakashi's because madara took his eyes. That's why both use same kind of jutsu.
He is not obito because he knows so much about madara, first hokage, 10 tails etc.

It would be real screwed up if it flipped to Oro and Sasuke and they had Edo summoned Every Uchiha that every excisted including Izuna Kagami The sages son and Obito

tobi has earth style techniques, not to mention the fact that the eye wasn't crushed but the eye simply fell back into the socket, a skull can withstand a lot of pressure in weight

Kishi didn't say exactly what chapter it was going to be revealed, but he said it was within the next couple weeks. People have predicted that it will be chapter 600 because apparently every 100 chapters there is a plot twist, or big reveal or whatever.
We'll see though, there's no guarantee it will be chapter 600 for sure it may be before then.
The next chapter will be out on wednesday, the schedule is going back to normal. It seems pretty common for them to release the next chapter a few days early when there is a break

you're nearing to say sorry to us who cling to believe that obito could be tobi....
As I read most of the comments here are fearing that Tobi might Obito... and they really made me laugh.....
I am very much interested in the following chapter that would show to us who really is Tobi....though it is quite logically precise to assume that he might be Obito....

(Little bit of prediction)
I was thinking about what Madara said to the Kages. That his enjoyment was ruined and that he might as well go get the kubi. After that the Manga switched to Tobi vs Naruto etc. (maybe as a hint it switched pointing out that there is a 2nd reason why he wants to join the battle)
Its all leading to the point where Madara is the one who will reveal Tobi's identity to us. Or at least will be a big roll in revealing.
And because he is full aware of Tobi, and besides the fact that he wants to get the Kubi he also wants to discuss some things with tobi. (What it is I can only guess, maybe something why Tobi is getting things not done exactly the way it suppose to be)
I think its all leading to the point where Madara is the one who will reveal Tobi's identity and not Naruto or Kakashi.

there was a bit of flash back, i think its still obito he's probably still pissed about kinn or whatever her face is died at the bridge thats why he said to kakachi a world where heroes won't have to stand a graves, than we saw the flash back and kakachi look stunned
I'm really excited. Little by little we're learning more about who in the world "Tobi" is. I have a hunch that in the next chapter we'll enter a flash back with Tobi (ya know, like when Kabuto told his story), how ever it will still remain inconclusive until the very end.

Well if we want to know tobi is just read manga
first of all tobi was not scared but rather shoked to see madara If he had been izuna he wouldn't give a damn that he saw madara b/c they were equals in their lifetime
When all uchiha clan member were massacred what happend to their eyes?? obiviously tobi took them.
I have also done some partial facial recognation with bit of images of tobi with other characters and i found two people kagami and obito withsimilar facial expression but we know tobi is old guy as evident when he was barely showing sasuke his face and during fight with konan so obito is out of picture.
Kabuto seems to know tobi identity whenever he talked to madara he refers him like he is respecting him but while talking to tobi he calls him normally if tobi was izuna kabuto would have talked to him very like madara also madra confirm that as well to gokage.
So the only person remains is kagami . DataBook doesn,t say exact status of kagami.he might be the only person in the right age group to know much about every thing in konoha including kakashi past.
Come to think of it kyubi attack on konoha could be an inside job while kagami was in konoha and might be part of root. If that is true then danzo must have known about it as well thats why at kage meeting he said madara was leader of akasuki
Remember when danzo visited orphan house to get kabuto it was night with full moon and kabuto is about same age as itachi means this incident took place in his back when kagami tried to double cross danzo and use the nine tail to attack knoha after which being in danger of caught he fled konoha and elders being known of it tried to trace him down but diddn't succeed.

The way 597 was i give it 5/5 understood the Jutsu perfectly, as well as confirmes my Obito, had my bet on that since very begining.
