1. Naruto 3 panels before Tobi saying he was going to neglect what Minato and Jiraiya gave him was saying I am going to become Hokage because there was stuff I was entrusted with. Naruto said it not Tobi. Tobi only repeated it to mess with him. And then after Tobi says this it goes into Narutos head for a flashback.
2. Tobi saw Minato seal kurama in Naruto
3. The Akatsuki was looking for Naruto the entire time he was with Jiraiya.

And about Kakashi and Tobi knowing each other that may be possilbe. I'm not arguing that. I'm just saying everybody knows what narutos about in his life because in every fight he tells them he's going to become hokage. thats all i said.

My question is, how on Earth would Tobi know what Naruto was entrusted with? I'm curious to get your opinions.

Naruto told him why he does what he does (cant remember for sure though) but naruto has at least mentioned it to other characters like raikage, tsunade and probably a few more.
So all it requires is one zetsu having watched that.

Nope, Tobi knows specifically that Jiraiya and the Minato entrusted him with the same thing and he knows what it is and that delivering something in spirit like "hope" is hollow. It is also common knowledge that the 4th died that night. So same question, how?

Well I somewhat agree with you. The part I don't agree with is the fact he could have captured naruto a long time ago. Lets face it, prior to kakashi getting MS tobi would have steam rolled him rather easily and taken naruto without question. The primary question in all this...why now? why at the peak of his strength is he going to attempt to extract him.

I have thought of a way tobi could easily get in naruto's haed, but he'd have to have AMAZING chakra control. Could it be possible to use one's chakra to sense the thought paths of others? It would be difficult but is/could-it-be possible? =/
