I personally think it could be any Uchiha with Obitos eye. Probably Izuna for 3 main reasons.
1 He didnt have eyes so when he got someone elses they stayed permenant like anyone else who gets a normal 3 tome sharingan. He was able 2 master Obitos S/T jutsu so fast because he already mastered 1 pair of sharingan.
2 He could know everything that Madara knew like the 4th said when they fought. And Izuna was said to be equal in power meaning he could tame the nine tails and go 1 on 1 with the 4th.
3 He took Madara identity because it was more plausible held a bit more rep that his own. Everyone who saw his face said he is Madara (i.e. Itachi and Kisame) because Izuna looks almost identical to Madara.
1 more thing the only other person that could virtually do all of these things in my book would the the older brother of the So6P

I still think its Izuna. I was right believing it was obitos eye. But idk if its obitos body. What i think if it is obito's body. Is that zetsu rebuit the body either using a clone or whatever. Izunas soul was transfered to that body. Since zetsuh as the 1st's genes and obito's body has uchiha genes. It explains why tobi would have both. Now it can still be the same if zetsu did that to izuna's body. We dont know how old zetsu is.

looks lyk tobi has obito's eye or body or the eye of someone realated to obito. but ther is no way its acually obito, he was a weak ninja that died young and tobi was arnd b4 obito. if it does turn out to b obito it would drop naruto outta my top 10 manga easy.
My prediction is that Tobi is izuna

uhhhh didn't Madara's brother lose both of his to Madara?
I say there is too much proof that Tobi is Madara's brother

About the only thing that is confirmed is that Kakashi's eye and Tobi's eye are connected. Within the chapter other time space manipulations do not affect each other, therefore it must be only one set.
This still leaves TONS of room for others scenarios to be incorporated. It could be that they were able to salvage a small portion of Obito's eye. Looking at his collection of eyes, I'm sure he would have found a way.
At best they may have found a way to replicate Obito's body using his cells and infusing it with other stuff. Zetsu knows him intimately so it's very possible that he and Zetsu were created the same way. Tobi displays very similar traits to Zetsu with the liquid oozing from his body and his ability to replace any missing limb.
That's what I'm betting on. Now the person who created Tobi and Zetsu, that's altogether another mystery.

I voted 5 nice chap but i have to admit that there is no story improvement and i'm tired of figuring out who is Tobi lol Even if he is not going to show his face, i'll be ok with that, the whole Pain arc is better than this war arc. But that is just my opinion. Hope Kishi will get over this Tobi thing asap.

Just made an account but ive been reading the forums for nearly 2 years!!!
Here goes. Small detail i picked up a while ago.. when Tobi was fighting Minato, he was suprised at his yellow flash technique and how quick it really was... but now if those who say that this was Obito.. obito had seen the technique first hand so why would he be suprised..
Its Confirmed they are connected. But as far as we know the only thing that connects the two of them is the fact Tobi has Obito's eye.
His Identity is still up in the air. Who knows who it could be but Kagami and Izuna are 2 of the best bets IMO

Doesn't it mean GET is to make something previously not my own to become my own?

Please look at pictures when Tobi (Obito) first met kakashi in battle (sasuke/itachi fight time)
and how in every confrontation between these both tobi(obito) looks at kakashi.
don't tell others to read right when you don't see any connections from other chapters.
plus kakashi clearly say's "IT'S YOU?!?"
