Tobi can't be Obito according to the official character data book Kakashi's thirty years old Tobi attacked the leaf sixteen years ago when Kakashi was 14 teen years old how ever zetsu can travel any where under ground he also eats the dead so Tobi could have stolen his eye. Tobi has to be an Uchiha that we know of allready Kanami,Isuna,Setsuna,all were loyal to Madara.Isuna gave his eyes to his brother so he would have need to steal anothers eyes and the skill to use the eyes besides the mangekyo sharingan will lose there light unless they have a new host :shrug:

tobi is danzo. no way after all the trouble he was causing sasuke would slap him down so easy.. he always was collectng uchiha eyes too and he has been around to get all the information. no way its obito.This is gonna end up being such a troll.Do you think after all this preparation Kishimoto would just hand out such information.It's basicly saying he is Obito.He is gonna troll us.Watch it be someone like Rin or one of those ninjas that kakashi and obito fought,Im not gonna be surprised at all
What if Tobi is actually Rin?
Before you completely write me off, hear me out:
-Shinobi can change many characteristics about themselves.
-Rin was there at the battle when Obito died, so it would be simple to regurgitate such information to throw Kakashi off.
-The transferring of eyes between individuals is a common thing for Tobi to be doing lately. As Rin did for Obito and Kakashi.
-Rin could have faked her own death after the things she experienced in the war and set out to change the world.
I'm currently doing more research, but that's what I have so far.
-Prepares for the attacks-

Ok for those of you trying to say that it was Madara that originally fought Minato...you're wrong! The man known as Tobi, is the ONLY character with that specific S/T tech and it would be impossible for Madara to have the exact same tech....as we know the 2 are not the same!!!
Secondly Tobi is not Obito, his eye maybe but not the same little boy that died at the bridge that day. My bets are on Izuna, mostly becuase of the knowledge he posses of Madara, the Uchiha Clan, and the tailed beast....only few first generation of leaf ninja knew of that kinda of information in detail the way he does!
And lastly I would say its a stretch but I think we will see the rest of narutos fight before we see Sasuke again.....Kishi did say that Tobis identity would be revealed in August, and it would be illogical to switch scenes for one chapter than right back to the original scene! IMO!!!!

If anyone thinks Tobi is Obito because Obito's eye or even his body is being used you are stupid and don't understand this Manga. Pain used someone elses eyes. Madara used someone elses eyes. Sasuke used someone elses eyes. Oro continuously uses someone elses body. And the list goes on.
I still highly doubt that Obito got rebuilt by zetsu or someone and decided to take over the world. Even if it is Obito's eye and even his body. i think tobi is obito ( 80%) and madara brothers (20%).... this is becoz there are so many facts that leads to obito is tobi...
1) kakashi said that his eyes and tobi are related and its look like from one person (obito) and tobi said the eyes was taken at the bridge where tobi was burried during the war. and like other said that obito was considered dead but no one ever try to confirm it, not even itachi. and its hard to find any others reasons why that tobi eyes and kakshi are related except that is from obito.
2) tobi didnt take that eyes from obito becoz this eyes never been replaced by tobi for so long( its been using for ages) , while the others eyes has been change from sharingan to rinnegan. this show that the rinnegan eyes is replaceable but not the right sharingan eyes because its originals.
3) obito isn not deads but been saved by either his eyes jutsu ( teleport his body into other demension) or saved by zetsu ( i believed this is the firts meeting between zetsu and obito) . Zetsu maybe give him a new grown up body or 1st hokage cells like danzou.
the proof is that tobi has lost his arm a few time and get bur by sasuk amaterasu, but he come back normal each times.
4) tobi surely reconize kakashi even they first meet during the search party of sasuke (5 kages summit)
5) Tobi realy hate and mad about kakashi, he mad becoz kakashi always says something bad ( kakashi always says something bad to obito when they kids) . And kakshi didnt kept his promise to take care of rin.
6) tobi is familiars with the konoha - its shown when tobi attacked the 4th hokages when naruto gets births. so its needs someone that in that era not from the old days to get familiars with the villages, and i guess it obito.

I'm only 17 and i've been watching naruto since it first aired in the USA, started the manga a year after that. What i've realized is that its the talk no jutsu(dialogue) that usually has a lot of key information to be understood. I really do enjoy the chapters where its all out chaos and battle. I think we finally get to see a bijuu mode lasting more than 5 mins. I heard someone said kakashi closed his eye before naruto charged of in bm, possibly another kamui? Will naruto's raw bijuu power and Senju Will be enough to stop tobi? I'd like to see some more techniques he can do besides rasengan and tb in bm.

I had a thought on that. This is the first time we've seen Naruto in his full bijuu mode since he talked with the other tailed beasts right? I think that his bijuu mode will start to look more and more like the So6P as the manga goes on.
And, on a different note, those of you who think that Naruto having no answer to the hatred of the Shinobi world are sorely mistaken. His answer IS hope. Without hope there would be nothing to strive for. You have to have hope if you want to accomplish anything. Naruto always HOPED to be acknowledged by the people in his village and now the entire village recognizes him as a person and they respect him. Itachi HOPED to protect the village and, in most ways, he did. Gaara HOPED to be accepted and not feared by his village and he became Kazekage, not because villagers feared him but because they grew to love him. Naruto HOPED to become friends with Kurama one day and it's plain to see that they've become that. So, as you can see, hope can be a very powerful thing. It is a feeling that can arise even in the darkest of times. It is something that cannot be easily quelled either.

1 It still could just b Obitos eye. And noone went to confirm his death because everyone assumes that when your smashed by Xthousands of pounds of rocks you are dead. And Obito was a low Uchiha who was not expected of much so noone really cared either way.
2 This point doesnt make much sense because Tobi character appeared after Obitos death meaning AGAIN it could still JUST be Obitos eye.
3 Zetsu is more likely to use/help someone who already has serious power/jutsu. Again NOT Obito.
4 Every1 recognizes Kakashi including ninja of foriegn nations and especially ninja of Konoha.
5 Plausible for the character but not probable 2 want 2 kill Kakashi and take over the world.
6 If you believe this then any Uchiha or anyone for that matter could plausibly know the things Tobi knew at that time.
7 Again anyone in the manga could plausibly do this and Obito would again be unlikely to do so.
8 This is a dumb point. Kishi covered his face because he wants people 2 ask questions and dumb people like u throw stupid theories like this out there.
