My take on Hinata is that she could probably beat Sakura in a fight. Put down your flaming torches for a minute and hear me out first.
Sakura fans said that a single hit from her would instantly KO'ed Hinata (Kakashi himself thought that it would be over for him too) and that would probably be true, considering the strength of her chakra fist. But do you really think that Hinata would just stand still and let her punch a hole in her guts? Especially with the way that Sakuratards said "Sakura punches the ground, Hinata loses her balance and it's all over for her." that really get on my nerves. What did they think Hinata is, a stupid idiot? Don't you think that she would dodge or uses her Protective 8 Trigrams 64 palm to counter attack or simply jump away with a chakra-infused jump if Sakura uses Cherry Blossom Clash?
Another thing that is the main issue is that Sakura's medical ninjutsu. Everyone says that if Hinata managed to a hit on her, she would just heal it away. Well, how can she do that if she wouldn't have the time to do so. Hinata simply would not stand by and watch her. And did they forgotten that Hinata could make medical oitments too? It wouldn't quite compete with Sakura's and is limited, but if she could heal herself too, then she wouldn't lose the fight just yet.
Hinata's Byakugan gives her a large advantage over Sakura. With it, she could see a person's chakra network and distrupt them with her Gentle fist, and her techniques is a bad match for Sakura's. Sakura's attacks focus mainly on chakra control, and Gentle fist would destroy all of that. Her strength would decrease dramatically. People says that Sakura would KO'ed Hinata before the latter could land a single strike on her, but I greatly disagree.
A single fist from her is equal as a 30-40 strikes from Hinata. Hinata's attacks are way faster than her. According to the databooks, yes, Sakura is faster than Hinata, but could she really dodge all of her strikes? After all, Sakura is not titled the Queen of Dodging like a certain Sakuratard had said in one of the other threads. A single strike would disrupt her chakra flow, and using ninja tools is useless against a Hyuuga who could Air Palm from a distance.
My conclusion is that Hinata would probably beat Sakura with difficulty, or the match woyld come to a draw. All I want is to people to stop underestimating and insulting Hinata! :-(
