Because no one's posted on this yet, I'll go ahead and say it: We landed a big-ass rover on Mars,
The time, effort, and technology that went into this are astounding. This is one of mankind's greatest accomplishments, next to putting a man on the moon.
That being said, one of the primary purposes of Mars exploration is to seek out possible traces of extraterrestrial life. Because of the conditions on Mars, it is not the greatest candidate for finding currently living organisms. A much better place to explore (in our solar system) would be Saturn's moon, Enceladus
Anyway, what do you think about the Mars landing and the potential for future space exploration?
