They may be weak, but they are strong. You contradict yourself here. You criticize naruto's power and intelligence and call him worthless, and then you say that he should be fighting this on his own. Naruto is not completely unintelligent anymore. But still he lacks the amount of intelligence that kakashi has, and as of now this has been a battle of strategy, something that Naruto lacks. You say that naruto should be offended that kakashi is on the battle field, and right after that you say he needs Kakashi's intelligence. Well he does not have that right now, so obviously he is going to need kakashi's help on the battle field. And also Naruto isn't that pretentious. Naruto's heart, well I don't know what manga your reading, but he has more heart than anybody else. In FF VII, Cloudcan fight Sephiroth alone because he is powerful enough to do it. In Naruto's case, due to Tobi's S/T ninjutsu, no matter how strong Naruto's attacks were he could literally do nothing. And onto of that, without the assistance of Guy and Kakashi, he would lose instantly just by being touched. Cloud didn't have that problem with sephiroth, so these 2 examples are estranged from each other. And what do you mean Giga powerful? What power? He has a large amount of chakra, if you want to count the rinnegan go ahead but since he refuses to use it I don't count it, and he has S/T ninjutsu. His space time ninjutsu is passive, he has control of powerful things, but thus far he has used 2 jutsu: Uchiha Kaenjin, and Earth Style: Hide Like a Mole Jutsu. Dead serious, that's all he's done. I see no way that Uchiha Kaenjin can be used offensively, so basically thus far the only offensive thing that Tobi can do is the touching thing. It is very effective, I will give you that. There is ZERO power involved. None. He might have power, he might use it eventually, but i hate people who have the nerve to say now that he is the most powerful guy ever when all he does is lets things pass through him and then touches the opponent. As of right now, it is just speculation and hype, 2 things which i a factual argument I hate.

Good chapter the fight is awesome lots of thought is going into this battle. But I need to see more of the Sasuke story unfold it's the most interesting story in the manga by far at the moment.

when tobi met with itachi before the uchiha massacre, his exact words were "you probably know that im an uchiha, and i hold a grudge towards the clan and the village." (chapter 590) i highly doubt that tobi is izuna...why would izuna hold a grudge against the uchiha clan? he volunteered on giving his eyes to madara to protect the uchiha clan

Man, good chapter just made me love Kakashi just a little bit more. Though it does make me wonder if every time Tobi travels dimensions does he sees Deidara's arm or some of the other stuff that Kakashi sent to that other dimension? It's obvious that the place Kakashi warps his stuff to is the same as the place Tobi warps himself and Sasuke to. So did Sasuke trip over Deidara arm or a bomb or something while he was there? Lol

Madara was cast out by his own people. Izuna's loyalties could have lain with his brother, rather than his clan or village. Madara became an avenger and attacked Hashirama in a final battle at VoTE.
Edo-Madara said Izuna was dead. But, he is dead (Madara) yet he exists as an Edo Tensei. As could Izuna. Dead, but a version of him lives on as a released ET-Izuna.

There was a debate about this a little further back in the thread. I'm fairly certain that "Uchiha Kaenjin" is the name of the jutsu. The way he said it, coupled with the fact that the fire barrier appeared right after, lends to the credibility of it being a jutsu. And, on a side note, what is with all of the "Tobi is Obito" posts? I don't think Kishi would troll us like that (then again I could be wrong). I've been seeing a lot of people mention the Minato vs. Tobi encounter while making an argument for or against Tobi being Obito. I would just like to point out three things. Firstly, Obito was only 13 when he was crushed by boulders. Not only was his right side crushed under the initial avalanche of falling rock, but the rest of his body was buried during a second cave-in. Kakashi and Rin saw this take place.
Secondly, Tobi's age is all wrong if he were to be Obito. Going on the fact that Kakashi and Obito were about the same age when Obito died, and by calculating how old Kakashi was when we were first introduced to him in Part 1, we can assume that Tobi's attack on Konoha with the Nine-tails happened a short time after Obito died (probably not long after the Third Ninja World War ended). Kakashi and Obito were both 13 when Obito was killed and Kakashi was 26 in Part 1 of the manga, meaning he would have still been 13 (possibly nearing 14) at the time of the attack on Konoha. Obito would not have been able to grow up that much in such a short period of time. If you look at pictures you can clearly see that 1) Obito is shorter than Minato and 2) Tobi and Minato are around the same height. So both the age and height difference are something to consider.
Thirdly, Obito loved Konoha. Why would he suddenly want to destroy it? It would be a complete 180 degree turn around of his personality.
Sorry for the long post. I just felt like I needed to point all that out. It's probably already been mentioned though. Still can't blame me for trying. lol I simply can't see how Tobi could be Obito with the amount of evidence.

Good chapter, will be a good anime. I do wonder tho when Minato hit him with rasengan his arm disfigured with possibly zetsu guu. Yet narutos didnt. Just general wondering? can someone maybe explain.

Hidan is still alive
Kakazu said that Hidan is still alive. Do you think that he might play a bigger role now that everybody has forgotten him? His power really isnt all that but he is imortal... I dont think that kishi would bring Hidan up out of no where if he wasnt going to appear again somewhere down the line. Besides, his defeat was open-ended. Meaning there was a chance he wasnt dead. Any theories guys??? :shrug:

During Izunas time the uchiha and senju were at war. It's possible he developed a grudge towards the clan when he learned of the joining of the clans to create kohona and that his brother who he gave his eyes to was essentially exiled from the clan and village he helped create
