This seems like probally the sort of thing which will happen in the next chapter. As it seems that scroll has no major hidden thing in it like alot of people thought was naruto other part of the kyuubi. Its just like the first ever naruto when he obtains the scroll (cant remember name of scroll) and learns bunshins.x. But i could b easily mistaken XD

?Its time I go on the offensive, but first? said God Realm. (God realm rushes toward Naruto)

?Dang it, he?s all out of natural energy,? said Shima. ?He does not have enough time to get into Sage Mode right now. His chakra needs to recover,? said Fukasku.

(Naruto jumps on top of Gamabunta?s head)

?Naruto, this Pain has the ability to control the flow of movement throughout the air. He can use replusion forces to create devastating chakra blasts. Physical attacks and ninjutsu will be repelled,? said Katsuyu.

?Let?s retreat for now,? said Gamabunta. ?Right,? said Naruto.

(Gamabunta jumps backwards toward the other Toads. Meanwhile Pain uses his forces to draw the defeated Animal Beast realm to his location as he backsteps near Hell Realm)

?Why the body,? asked Naruto. ?NARUTO he?s trying to revive them,? yelled Shima. ?SHIT,? yelled Naruto. ?On three,? yelled Shima. (Naruto who is currently standing on Gamabunta?s head, is joined with Fukasku and Shima, who jumps on his shoulders)

Gamabunta unleashes a massive amount of Toad Oil, Naruto places his hands out and thrusts a huge wave of windy chakra, followed by Fukasku spewing a gust of wind as well, then finally Shima ignites it with powerful flames)

(The flames cover a huge area, spreading across the entire battle field. Before the flames reach the bodies, they respawn next to Hell Realm due to Animal Beast being revived, thus summoning them. God Realm places his hands out)

(God Realm parts the flames and diverts it from his bodies.)

?I have to fly,? said Naruto. (Shima is concerned as she looks at the sweating Naruto) ?We have to have faith in the destined child. Those were Jiraiya?s wishes,? said Fukasku.

(Naruto nodes his head. Shima and Fukasku toss Naruto over a wide distance to reach the bodies before they recover. Naruto produces a shadow clone. The clone pulls off its own scroll unravels it, then disperses.)

?I see. The scroll of Myobokuzan. I wonder what he?ll use,? mentioned Fukasku. ?He didn?t have time to view the scrolls contents, so he used a shadow clone to brief himself quickly. Let?s hope he picked the right jutsu,? said Shima.

(Pain uses larger Bird summonings to intercept Naruto. Naruto tosses several smoke bombs to blind the summonings. As Naruto lands on the ground he does a series of handseals, however he is about to get attacked by the six bodies of Pain, as they all draw their Chakra disrupter blades. Before they attack him, Naruto places his hands on the ground.)

?Toad Mouth Binding,? yelled Naruto. (All six bodies are immediately stuck to the earth as flesh covers the ground and springs up into walls binding their arms and legs)

?That?s the Iwagama?s Esophagus skill,? yelled Shima.

?He?s able to use our jutsu. Jiraiya was indeed correct about choosing this boy,? said Gamabutna.

?To be able to pull off a technique on that caliber without preperation and on his current chakra level at that. To be able to go into Sage Mode, the user has to use his highest amount of chakra to draw on Natural Energy. Since he can?t fuse with us, he can?t maintain Sage Mode for extended periods of time. Once it ends he?s left with almost no chakra.

Even if this boy can get into Sage Mode easily, he needs to find away to conserve his chakra. That spiraling wind technique zapped his Sage Chakra. Yet how is he still able to pull off a powerful jutsu like this? Is this the power of the 9 tailed fox,? asked Fukasku.

?He got us,? said God Realm. ?I can?t hold them much longer,? yelled Naruto (Gamahiro leaps into the air and as Naruto?s jutsu releases, all six bodies are crushed by Gamahiro. Naruto Escapes before suffering the same fate)

?Did he take them all out,? asked Fukasku. ?Amazing,? said Shima. (Gamabunta and Gamaken are shocked)

In Wiki and in some other sites it's said to be on January 25, anyway Congratulations, Minato!!!!

And someone asked about Rin's death...I found the following information: "She is presumed dead, as Kakashi mentions he failed to protect her during his final thoughts before he seemingly died. Though there is chance she is alive, Kakashi may have meant that he failed to protect her because he's dying and was not able to keep his promise to Obito any longer. So assuming that's the point of view, she may very well be alive."
The other day I rewatched anime when the 3rd died and there Kakashi met a woman who looked (to me )like Rin, she asked wheather he had come there for Obito....Was it really she?

i just had a thought. what if the power itachi gave naruto was the power to supress the 9 tails chakra. that would a power compatible with naruto. then i can see naruto controling the foxes power.

Interesting thought. I don't think that's the case, mainly just because I THINK it was the sharingan that let Madara/Sasuke 'control' the Kyuubi. Maybe not, and then, when Naruto's getting his butt handed to him by Sasuke, the power is triggered, suddenly giving Naruto a HUGE power boost, to take down (not out) Sasuke. Again, I doubt it, but interesting thought.

Dude, you just copied my thing that's below where it says if I'm online or not. (Maybe you didn't copy it, but I said it first. (Maybe I wasn't the first-first to say it, but it's the only time I've seen it since I've been reading on this site. (I really don't care. Just griping for fun.)))

Obviously no sharringan means no rasengan or special ability...

First.... Sharingan canot be compared to any tech like rasengan, or kage bunshins or anything else. Sharingan is something implicit in a character that belongs to the Uchiha clan, so it?s a gift acquire by them without much effort or skill, or nothing..., it?s just bloodline. It?s a blessing for them.

So it wouldn?t be apropiate, or fair, to affirm that no sharingan means no rasengan (which requires skill and dedication). It would be better to say, no chidori means no rasengan.

Second..., it?s true that Sasuke relies on his sharingan in a great mayority of the battles he has.., I would say that in a 90% of the ocations (You say that at the begining he may not have it activated, but it?s true that he uses it once the battle begins to get serious)..., which gives him an upper hand with his opponents in what?s related to detecting the enemy?s moves and aticipating them (without mentioning Genjutso and other special techniques that come with those eyes).

But the fact that he?s able to evade the attacks is pure skill of Sasuke, and it?s remarkable.

You talked about the fight he had with Lee when they were kids, in which Sasuke couldn?t evade Lee?s attacks even while he was using sharingan..., but Lee explained that it?s true that he could see and predict his movements, but that it was useless because Sasuke?s body was not prepared to evade them even if he wanted so.

So, with killer bee Sasuke showed a tremendous growth.

Oh, and I don?t belive that Naruto is as bad as you guys say he is in Taijutsu.

But when ppl compare him to naruto now there like he would loose cuz of this and that...
U know its kinda like ppl want it to be like when sasuke got super strong & naruto wasnt...
But its hard to compare because sasuke has always been good....
I dont think he has gotten worse....

Naruto isnt drop dead the worse in taijutsu...

Wow! It took a while to read all I missed in just today's postings. Now it's all of you guys' turns to read what I have to say. Meercy, you DO post a lot, but you haven't really said anything NEW in a couple of days. No matter how many times you say it, I don't think you can prove Naruto's not as good a fighter as anyone else in the manga (except Lee/Gai in a FIST fight/taijutsu). I wasn't keeping score on how many people you've been arguing with, but I could've sworn you said a couple of days ago that if 5 or more people say something on this then it's proven (Though I don't agree with that myself. It might mean the probability's higher, but that's it until history shows otherwise.) Now you've gone back on that and said the opposite. Moot point now. Anyways, I think Naruto's definitely gotten lucky a couple of times (ie: fart against Kiba and Sasuke chipping the lightning sword first. He also got lucky to get the teachers he's had, but the biggest example of luck he's had, even though it was also a curse, was having the 9-tails sealed inside of him.), but who hasn't gotten lucky before (besides you, meercy? lol. I'm just kidding. wanted to talk some trash just for fun.) NOW, you HAVE TO account for everything that makes him up. Without the gifts he's been given, including the fox, sage mode, and different jutsus, he PROBABLY, in my mind, wouldn't have given up learning taijutsu and lifting weights to become the best he could be, due to his fighting spirit and unwavering determination, just like Lee. So I agree with you that he isn't as good at some aspects of fighting as a bunch of others, but he doesn't have to be. He's developed his skills to fit his way of fighting, which has not failed him to date, excluding still not being able to bring Sasuke back. Now that I've rambled on, I've lost my train of thought, but to be funny, I'll end my comment with this: Case Closed!! BEEEYAAHHH!

Ok, back to predictions and possibilities: I think that until Naruto recharges with his awesome way of collecting natural energy, which we haven't seen yet, he'll start to use some of his old tricks, which won't be so effective. Seeing this, he'll decide to use SOME new tricks that he learned from the toads (man, body flicker would be awesome, but I don't think he's ready for it yet, if he is ever to get it.). If this doesn't work, or maybe the way he chooses or activates these jutsus, he turns to the scroll on the back. As I've said before: THIS IS NOT THE TOAD CONTRACT. Then, he'll get some cool weapon or cool jutsus.

first of all awesome manga.
secondly naruto is an awesome ninja in his own right he does have jutsus that he can do on his own without sage mode and a genios in his own right he learned all the techniches from shadow clones to sage mode in record time.
third, the manga is all about the younger generation surpassing the older one if you look throughout the manga and animie the gennin from the leaf village are owning jonin level ninja from other villages as a constant
finally sasuske may be a genius but he hasn't really defeated anyone they all defeat themselves orichmaru was near death, deidra blew himself up, itatchi died from a ailment that he has been suffering for years, killer bee sent a clone to get away from his village, so sasuske is not even on narutos level. furthermore his heart is pure from not having killed anyone key for kishi to use for his redemtion which seems to be the ultimate goal of the manga, along with the younger geration surpassing the older one, and naruto becoming hokoge of course.

Oh yeah! Thank you looney, you've restored at least one of my tracks to my train of thought. Finally, Naruto, as others have pointed out, is great at developing moves or plans, no matter how simple they are, to defeat enemies in the heat of battle. The Nejii fight, Kakuzu fight, training bells-round II, etc. What would seem like simple ideas, usually seem to work. I don't understand, but they do. He's not on Shikamaru's level, as far as this goes, but he's pretty darn good at it.

I'm not saying it's definitely GONNA happen, but what if Naruto summons the Mountain Toad? That'd be pretty cool. Might not work against pain, but it'd be fun to see. Maybe add a new trick to it?

Oh! About the Rin'negin. I still don't know if we've even seen it's true power. The first time Nagato used it when he was a kid, he "blacked out or went out of his mind," or something. We know he didn't use dead bodies to kill that guy, but maybe he used one of the six powers that Pain's been using. I think is safe to assume Nagato can control these when he's fighting as himself. One thing I'm wondering though... The other two eye techniques, the Byakugon and Sharingan, each have an "activation." You can tell they have different eyes, but they change when activated. I wonder if, and how, the Rin'negin changes, and then what does it 'do?'

Meercy, don't take anything I've written personally. Like you, I'm just trying to convey what I'M thinking, and trying to have fun at the same time. I'm not sure, but if I were to guess, it seems like you get mad when doing this. Have some fun. Make some jokes. And you really got a warning about posting too much? What's up with that? I would've thought they like people who post a lot. Yeah, you might've said it and closed the case, but I read the whole thing and wanted to give my two cents also. I just missed it earlier in the day.
I meant the 5 ppl comment was like two or three days ago. not today. I'll look into it, but if I'm wrong, sorry.

Exactly, Sasuke does rely on his sharingan. Now I get how anyone has seen growth in Sasuke with that 8tail fight. He rushed into it and got SCRAPED! He was beaten straight up. He was practically dead but guess what....ONCE AGAIN someone came to his rescue. Even with all his training throughout the 3 years between series, he gets beaten by an average ninja and needs rescuing. So where exactly do you see growth.

His arogance is going to get him killed. We all seen the fight. Sasuke rushed in blindly THINKING is sword couldn't be blocked! Clearly he OVERESTIMATES is abilities and it's constantly putting in very bad situations that he can't get out of himself. He'll always need a group around him to bail him out, yet NARUTO stands up to PEIN alone. So how can be possibly compare the two.

Sasuke didn't even achieve the next state of the sharingan...It was given to him. Or did we forget that. He's not even a valid threat....Madara is the real threat. Like I always said, Sasuke is only an average Uchiha. And Naruto is the son of the 4th and living up to that standard.

The eye technique is a curse because the people who possess it are dying out. The Rinagan is the most powerful but only Nagato has it. The Sharingon has only three owners. And the Biacugan has the Huga clan. So, I think not having an eye technique is better.
