So, what does it mean basically? Is it because the jutsu is just on a timer? Like when he activates it he has 5 seconds of being intangible? Please post your theories and thoughts. It is hard to understand IMO but please bear with me.

Tobi his spacetimejutsu allows him to switch between dimensions.

He has 2 versions of this ONE JUTSU, that allows him to do this.
The teleportation and becomming intangible.

Kakashi wasnt sure if it were 2 jutsus or 1. Now he knows its one jutsu.

For example, it could have been the case, that tobi can dematerialize, without moving his body to some dimension. Than the teleport and the intangible, would be 2 completely different jutsus.

I dont understand how space/time and intangability are one jutsu either
Apparently, he just transports the part of his body to attacker is aiming for to his pocket dimension, which is the same dimension Kamui sends stuff to. However, i don't believe this is true. Tobi has turned his head intangible and passed through objects. If Tobi is really transporting parts of his body, he would have severed his brain when turning his head intangible, killing himself instantly. I think Kakashi is onto something, but not completely right.

It means that the techniques that Tobi uses are all one jutsu. Throughout the series, it was assumed that he had multiple S/T techniques, but they are really just variations of the same technique. It also seems that Kakashi's Kamui is a variation of the same technique.

It is kind of like how Itachi and Sasuke's uses for Amaterasu are so dramatically different. Or how every Susanoo thus far has had different physical characteristics and abilities. In other words, Tobi's S/T technique may be just a more advanced version of Kamui.

I have to agree with this and what CJ Mac said.
