Black Blood: Shades of Fate

Back in the days when Konoha was not yet united as one country, many clans ravaged the land. The Senju Clan, The Hyuga Clan, the Akimichi clan, the Nara clan and of course not leaving out the Uchiha Clan, one of the most powerful clan ever to set foot on the Fire Country. However, this is not a tale about the Uchiha, it is about another clan. A clan that existed before all of these. A clan known as the Aburame.

Aburame Izuru, The founder of the clan, was dying due to a battle with a rival clan. As he stumbled across the path to escape, he fell unconscious on a hill of chakra bugs. In a dream, Izuru encountered a bug and told him that his life would be saved under one condition, that he and his clan will protect the near-extinct species of the chakra bugs. Izuru agreed and he woke up, a swarm of bugs entering his body and healing the dead flesh by feeding on it. In exchange for a body to live in and chakra to feed on, the bugs now follow his orders and he can now utilize them in battle.

With the strength and power of the chakra bugs, the Aburame Clan managed to defeat the low ranking clans of the fire country and quickly gained control of most of the land. It was also at this point when Aburame Izuru met his wife, Aburame Kamaki. Together, they defeated countless adversaries, which gave them the title “The Mantis Warriors”.

However, not even them can defeat the might of the Senju Clan…

The reek of burning flesh wafted in the wind as the fire continued to burn upon the Aburame Stronghold. Aburame Izuru, left with only a few of his finest warriors had escaped the fortress…

Aburame Izuru tried not to look back, focusing only in his steps. Beside him, was a few warriors that protected him ever since the attack. However, Izuru was still in doubt about one thing: where was his wife?
“Kamaki… Where are you?” Izuru asked to himself.

“Don’t worry, my lord,” an Aburame warrior said. “I’m sure Lady Kamaki and her bodyguards escaped the fortress.”

Izuru stared at him with great hatred.
“I’m sorry, did I ask you for your opinion?”
Izuru actually waited for a response before he continued to degrade the Aburame warrior.
“No. So why don’t you just do your job and protect me, okay?”

“I-I’m sorry, my Lord. I didn’t mean to offend you,” the warrior stuttered.

Izuru stopped for awhile and stared through the darkness. Where was Kamaki? Suddenly, he heard a rustle of leaves and as quick as a flashed he armed himself with a kunai and darted towards the noise.

An Aburame warrior went out of the bushes and almost had a third nostril when Izuru swung his kunai at him.

“S-Sir!” the warrior cried.

“Don’t do that! Why are you sneaking around anyways?” Izuru said. He kept away the kunai and sighed.

“Sir, I have terrible news,” the warrior said.

“What?”

“Lady Kamaki… didn’t survive the assault. She never got away from the fortress. I-I’m sorry, my Lord.”

Aburame Izuru was at a loss for words. In his rage he punched straight through the warrior's gut, and a massive swarm of chakra bugs gushed out of his hands, making the wound bigger. In other words, the warrior was screwed.

"Kamaki..." Izuru sighed. He wiped his tears and turned to his remaining men. " Change of plans, people. We go back and kill those Senju sons of bitches! They shall pay for what they did. Now who's with me?"

After what happened to the dead warrior, no one dared to NOT raise their hands in agreement to Izuru's request.

"YES, SIR!" cried the warriors in unison.

As Izuru spoke, a countless number of bugs spun around him, his eyes cold.
"Hashirama Senju... You will pay for your babarism..."

Aburame Shino bolted up from his bed, drenched in sweat. He looked at the time. 7.30 am. He rubbed his head and yawned. It was that dream again. Who was that guy? And more importantly why did he look exactly like him?

He decided not think about it anymore, for it will add to his already annoying migraine. Since he was up, he decided to go to the meeting place earlier than usual.

"I hope the mission is not that hard," Shino said and left the Aburame household. However, the images of the dream were still haunting him. He hoped that it will disappear when he meets the others...

Anyways, great job with the FanFic. With more successful chapters like this 1st one, it'll sure to be a shoo-in in the upcoming FanFic contest, should it be held, that is. xD
