yes.. "way before"... just jiraya died at the end of the sea saiying "the tale of uzumaki naruto......perfect".. and 6 pages AFTER Zetsu appears , and at the same page he leaves.....

damn dude nice theory...i was sure that itachi gave susano to naruto ,as he gave amaterasu and tsukiomi to sasuke,but now i kind of doubt that...I am sure that NOONE has Wrote this before, much less thought it, if you have let me know!
Please be patient with my ordering and explanation
1. Naruto receives "Itachi's power" ... starting in Manga Chapter 365, and ends in Chapter 403. MANY things happened in between this gap. Including Pein killing Jiraiya, and Sasuke killing Itachi.
2. The most Relevant point to this thread, is when Jiraiya pulled the Keyscroll-Frog out from his stomach.

3. In all honesty, imagine the idea of putting that thing down your throat. BECAUSE this is what Naruto saw happen!!! Remember that the Keyscroll-Frog was pulled out of Jiraiya, in front of Naruto and eventually put back in. Naruto was also told the significance of the scroll, and experienced what affect it had on him
Now put it in context of the situation.
Naruto is scared that the Fox will overpower him. Would he be receptible to storing the scroll inside him, with all that power ready to unleash the Fox and lose control??? HECK NO.... not to mention that even IF Naruto was mentally able to take ownership of the scroll, would he still knowingly sit still as the giant scroll was shoved inside his stomach??? HECK NO...
Basically I am intending for you to picture how everything changes, if you imagine Itachi really being the Keyscroll-Frog... it makes sense, just read on
4. This is why the scroll frog used Genjutsu on Naruto, and made himself look like Itachi. What we assumed was Sasuke's brother, looking out for his brother. WRONG. Itachi was sitting and waiting to fight Sasuke right at the same moment this event was taking place! HOWEVER, the Keyscroll-Frog was witness to Naruto, met Naruto (imagine the scene of a talking frog coming out of Jiraiya lol) The Keyscroll-Frog also knew Naruto's motivation for wanting to control the 9-Tails, to save Sasuke, who is an enemy to Konoha.... 5. Here is the imfamous shot! Notice that Naruto's head was in the same cocked back position, and swallowing something big. Trust me, its the scroll. AND it was genjutsu. *** WE all just like Naruto, did not realize what was really going on....

The transfer had to be immediate, preferrably not in the open where the secret could get out, and so that Naruto wouldn't immediately realize that something happened to Jiraiya, because he was forced to swallow that scroll!!!
6. Also Notice in the last image at the bottom, that the FAKE Itachi said he had something important to do, and left. This was to go and report to Fukusaku and the Hokage...
Note that the Former Keyscroll-Frog now is empty. It took the scroll out of itself, and put it into Naruto... the Frog didn't want to commit suicide by going inside Naruto, knowing that its body wouldn't survive.

7. This is why Naruto was swifted away to the mountain ASAP, and Tsunade told him to go. She was probably told EVERYTHING, include the scroll being inside of Naruto.

me too... i presume is the way to turn off amaterasu, or maby a way to be imune to the super genjutsu ( dont remember the name )...... i presume this cause those 2 powers are too dangerous, and cant be stopped by naruto even is he is as powerfull as he is now

The only way Naruto could have Susano is if he was an Uchiha or had the Sharigan.

dudes why are you so black and white about this susano??susano was a summon that contained super sword that orocimaru looked for and the super shield that reflected everything...thous are the ojects and can be passed just like the scrolls as this thread suggests,so either way it is possible,i am not trying to prow this awesome theory wrong,its just susano is possible too,think about it sasuke got tsukiomi and amaterasu from itachi,where is the other one??

I love it when people here in the forums get all hyper about a remark.
And on top of it they bitch slap the comment made as if they were the detainers of truth.
So relax, we are just discussing ideas as the only person who really knows the truth is kishimoto himself.
In any case, the way Susano was presented in the manga I assumed it was a Uchiha thing only. I didn?t see Itachi perform any hand seals to summon it and I always presumed it was one of the MS hidden powers.
Next time I will probably add "This is what I THINK" beafore beginning my post.

I don't think it quite works that way. I think Minato made the seal for 2 reasons. #1 being that he wanted Naruto to be able to use the 9-Tails without harming himself, and also to not harm the village #2. The seal is paired with a key, to be used by somonee to stop Naruto if he were ever to lose control, on purpose or accident. The scroll would give him instant control inside himself to turn the Kyuubi On or Off. Could be dangerous inside a "evil Naruto" instead of the one we know. Imagine old Gara being out of control, except with Naruto, Jiraiya could still seal the Kyuubi away.
Also, I don't think Jiraiya critically wounded was able to shove a scroll down Kyuubi-Naruto's mouth. lol.
I imagined Jiraiya taking out the scroll...
placing his hand on the scroll... and his 5 finger tips start glowing...
(like how they did when he released the scroll from his custody)...
and then he places the fingers on the stomach of Naruto...
(like when he undid the counter-seal Orochimaru placed on Naruto's stomach)
and then turned the spiral on his stomach, back into place. IDK. Thats how I saw it happening.
The "Sword of Sealing" was a mystic sword that is not related to Susano. Similar to the 2nd Hokage's thunder blade or whatever its called.

How about Itachi planned this for some time?
I just get a feeling that itachi had some plans for naruto ever since he first met him.
After naruto used rasengan on Itachi's "clone" (When trying to save Gaara). The smile was something i noticed.
I guess it only means " HA! its not the real me!"
But i get the feeling that it is something more about it
Later on when Sasori asked Itachi what kind of a guy naruto is.
He only said that he is a guy that screams and rushes, then he left the cave.
When he could have given much more info.
And then there is the encounter between Naruto and Itachi (What you think is the frog....)
Now... we already now that itachi could give powers to others. (Poke on sasukes forehead just before he died, gave him new eye techniques)
Would it be impossible if what we saw is what happened? And naruto was just another piece in his grand plan?
Itachi said that sasuke is still pure, that he could be colored easily by anything. So my guess is that Naruto is just the last piece to try to save konoha and sasuke at the same time.

Haha Thanks!!! I do have to say the thread has gotten many mixed opinions... I've listened and commented to most of all of them... mainly to explain my train of thought.
I see what you're saying here. I think that there is a difference from tapping a forehead to shoving something down someone's mouth... lol... I would equate the touching the forehead, to be similar to the "gentle fist" technique... possibly to use Itachi's chakra to unlock the sharringan's abilities... or to stimulate brain neurons and pathways in Sasuke to help him learn techniques...
What manga chapter was that Itachi quote about Sasuke's purity? Then I can get a better idea of what was going on.
itachi want to save konoha, he gives naruto something to be more ready to fight sasuke ( if the time came where madara convince sasuke to ataq konoha).. like i said before i presume is not an ataq thing.. just a way to be "less defenceless" againts or amaterazu genjutsus

geez!when did i bitch slap you or anybody else?i wasn't talking only about you even thou i quoted you i mean everyone who thinks susano isn't possible...just look here damn it orochimaru had his damn sword inside him rember and he was looking for this sealing sword for eternity...i think this kind of swords are held inside the body(kusanagi and sealing sword)
what i am saying is that susanos sword and shield is possible,but i agree with the poster of this thread and believe it was scrool,but don't count susano as impossible i'd say 6% scrool and 40% susano
