yea it does seem to be madara was bigger ....
but maybe it was because he wa sstill wearin all that material and he had all that uchia hair
so once he lost the old clothes and pit on that tight shinobi gear....
and cut his hair...we have a small madara...lol...
maybe he dieted too...

it was like 8-10 years ago just before the massacre of uchiha clan. itachi was teen back then. he got taller man..lol

I have two possible points to mention here:
1. Itachi was 15 back then, he could have grown taller.
2. Madara is b/w 90 yrs to 100yrs(old) now. Don't you think his back(or back bone) has bent like 3rd. 3rd wasn't as old as Madara. He was just 65 yrs old.
