rinnegan is more useful and better than sharingan because anything the sharingan can do rinnegan has a better version of,and more effective way to do it, itachi vs kabuto was a perfect example itachi technically died once in that fight just trying to control kabuto so that he could stop edo tensei, nagato would have never struggled that much and probably would have had the battle with kabuto won in record timing plus had edo tensei stopped and released,and it would seems that rinnegan control over tailed beast is also better.

you are forgeting that, due to itachi's sharingan, he got free from edo, meanwhile pain couln't do shit, with he's rinnegan and all, and also to point out one fact to prove you guys wrong, six paths of pain fought naruto, meanining 12 rinnegan eyes were fixed on naruto, can you imagine what will happen if 12 sharingan eyes were fixed on naruto, when an ordinary finger gave naruto a run for his money

Itachis sharingan didn't do shit,his crappy ass pair of eyes were useless in a situation like edo tensei shisei's eye is the thing that deserves the credit,six 12 rinnegans used for SHARED VISION,and each only had ONE technique except for deva path plus one was destroyed at the beginning of the battle, thats only five paths that put naruto through hell! plus are you forgetting that they took on the whole village and the whole entire toad society, plus 1 path(ONE PATH!) by its self was able to pretty much able to stand up to a six tailed kyuubi and defeat it,if itachi and his sharingan were to go up against all that he would have been ran through like water, plus nagato and his rinnegan could have defeated,control,and forced him to end edo tensei WAY easier than itachi.

Rinnegan is very strong but, i think it mostly depends on the user, the rinnegan may be strong but if sasuke were to fight against nagato, sasuke EMS and nagato normal rinnegan, sasuke wins. so yes rinnegan is strong but the sharingan is also very powerful.
