Do you believe in God?

I would just like to ask everybody a few questions. Do you know the odds that our planet somehow formed in the perfect spot with the perfect materials to sustain life today? Do you know the odds that mutations occurred in certain organisms at certain times in certain ways to end up the way we are today? Do you know the odds that these mutations would differentiate in such a way to create the diversity of life today? There is a chance that all the air in the room you are in right now would accumulate in one corner of the room leaving a vacuum in the rest. This is highly improbable but still has a higher chance of happening than the odds in my previous questions. This is why I believe in a higher being who created an intelligent design. Who said that this design had to be perfect? or easy for those abiding in it? Just because we have no scientific proof of something existing doesn't mean we have proof of it not existing. The odds are that there is something greater than us. I don't know what it is exactly but I am confident in my relationship with the Christian God. What do I have to lose?

Edit: To people wondering what created the creater. What created the first mass and energy in the universe? If you believe in the findings and theories in science of the beginning of our universe then you believe that some things where just there and have always been.

To the people wondering how evolution plays into the way the Bible explains how God created our world. It is said in the Bible that a day to God is much longer to us. The 7 "days" that God created Earth could have been millions of years in our sense of time.

(In fact nor did i, none of the preachers came to my family and showed me the truth nor did give me any sign/vision etc) Also how many generations of Chinese, Japanese, Australian, Native American, Indian etc people had to wait till they got the massage? They all should be in hell as they are non believers ..... thats not fair is it?

Thats a really good argument . . . . Even if the theory of evolution is absolutely true that wld not mean that God is not there, evolution can very well be one of the tool he designed to propagate creation. There are about 100,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 stars and there can be about 800,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 plants and few of them may have life forms. What i dont believe is that God is a entity that just concentrates on us when there are about 800,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 planets to look after or that he is relatively human shaped or that he interferes much with mortal life (at least now a days we see to much evil) . . . . he can be the very driving force that keeps the fabric and clock works of the universe together.

PS If one religion is validated what about others? All of the religion have their prophets, books and lessons by God/Gods themselves ..... yet they have different stories. The one God or group Gods cant tell different stories to different people.

Well I believe in God but not any perticular religion. I was born a Hindu, studied in Cristian school, had a very good Muslim friend and studied about Buddhism a bit. I believe i god but no the way most people see it, to me God is not some human shaped almighty figure, the universe is far too big and we humans far too insignificant and foolish to be center of God's creation. Rather God to me is the ultimate law that guides the course of universe, u wld notice that very atoms and molecules itself strive to attain a perfectly stable state.... to me God is that perfection that everything living and non biological try to obtain. U ask why? Its because there is too much order in the chaos of the world to be just coincidence... there must be a ultimate law or driving force that pushes the world along its path. That dosent tell you anything if your god exist or not, by your claims ALL RELGIONS CAN BE TRUE why should just YOUR religion be THE ONE and ONLY?

And Probability or not dosent ethier tell you that a god created everything, yes it tells us the chances for us to occur to be unlikely BUT still why should it give us reason to beleive in god?

Many have been on the brink of death but called on the name of Jesus and was saved/healed.These people fast and talk with God through prayer. They themselves are the proof of God's miracles and existence.

Now you,a person who has not put in the devotion to have read the entire bible and/or try to understand it or have not gone to a good church to listen to a good pastor(there are false prophets who give christians a bad name) and have not fasted or prayed for Jesus or God;know almost nothing about Christianity or God and have no right to judge,label or try to bring it down.

You rely on Science because it has "proof". Science is nothing but man-made theories and ideas. Your "proof" makes sense according to your natural mind but God and his works are supernatural. He does not have to match up with our science and logic. So before somebody repeats "Well,who created God since something can't be made out of nothing" remember that is our natural way of thinking but God is supernatural.

Since Adam, there have been 124000 messengers from God. They have come to the earth in every corner. They have delivered the message of God throughout the ages. It is their original religion that has transformed into modern Religions. The religion of Abraham was the one who would go to paradise in his era. the followers of Jesus would go to Paradise in his era. each era in which the prophets gave their message and his true followers followed their prophets, would go to Paradise. And this chain of messengers started from Adam continued to Noah to Abraham to Moses to Jesus to Mohammed(peace be upon them all) and many in between them. for all we know, even Buddha might have been one of those messengers.

Now, what mankind does, is that it makes alterations in the original message of God for its own easiness/logic. once that happens, God sends a new Prophet. Now, Prophet Mohammed has clearly said that there will be no more messengers from God, because the Holy Quran will remain unchanged for eternity. That is why, there hasnt been a change in a single letter or fullstop in the text of the Quran. Oh and We, the Muslims were told by our Prophet Mohammed, that Jesus(p.b.u.h) will come again to help us when Anti-Christ(Dajjal in Arabic) will come to rule the World.

If he punishes bad people then he should be good no? Science, the man made theories and ideas too saved millions of people from their death bed, cures and heals nearly everyone be he a believer or not, allowed man to go to moon, master electricity etc so watch what your saying.

GOd In My Life-

My internet access expired two days ago. Didn't have money to renew it. I prayed yesterday and now its back(someone did it without me even asking them) ^_^

Was feeling seriously sick(just standing up hurt, as did doing anything apart from lying down plus a monster headache that somehow extended to my eye ). Prayed and got better. I've also prayed for someone else in this manner. Was actually amazing, it was my lil' bro, he was sick and couldn't go out and he was all curled up in bed and I prayed a short prayer and instantly he got up and went out to play.

I once told God to wake me up at exactly 7 AM(I slept really late, like 5 AM and wasn't sure I could do it myself) I suddenly woke up the next morning and it was EXAcTLY 7 AM! I was freaked cuz usually when I sleep that late I stay in bed till noon(I'm PreTTY lazy -__-).

Prayed for a specified amount of money, got it the next day.

These are very small prayers that were answered(and A LOT MORE where that came from). What can I say. I don't have a lot of big problems(I'm 15 years old ppl though I've already finished High School). The only one I consider big was when I prayed for rain to stop and it actually did. This has happened many times.

God is real and for some reason He's using his power for my little requests (well, I know the reason its cuz He loves me ^_^ even though I'm a HUGE screw up). I don't ask for big things like a million dollars cuz I know I won't be expecting an answer so I won't get it, though some day I hope to achieve such a level of faith.

If you think I'm crazy then FYI I don't give a damn. Have fun. ^_^

Another one-yesterday I went to Church(a Church in another town which is a two hour drive from where I live so there's no way the preacher could've known) and in that Church my Dad was called out by the preacher by name. The preacher told him every problem he was currently facing and prayed for him. Also there were a lot of people who experienced the same thing, they were called out by name and surname, place they're from then having their problems; health or otherwise explained to them and prayed for.

And how many prayers do you think are not answered??? Besides every religion can say a lot of cases when the prayers of the members were "answered". Does that mean that god accepts all these religions ? And by the way when I was little I ws praying for my parents to stop debating and what a miracle it didnt happen...Since then I stopped praying and what a miracle many other things I wished for have come true...Why is that...
