Dead bodies can't hear by themselves. They can't act by themselves, They can't ****ing see by themselves. Nagato is pumping his own damn chakra to control them so he would evidently be effected by genjutsu.

Exactly.

Even if Nagato does not appear in the genjutsu realm, it's because his paths are like his 'avatars'

Who he appears as.

You have to be trolling.

Nagato is going to get effected even though he is manipulating the chakra in the rods which are controlling the Dead bodies??

Nah you're trolling me.

Exactly.

Even if Nagato does not appear in the genjutsu realm, it's because his paths are like his 'avatars'

Who he appears as.

Please tell me why the other three paths did not show up in the Cube

Don't say plot, throwing plot into an argument when you are claiming to be logical just does not work.

I don't know if you're in denial or retarted. Nagato see's through the Pein's eyes. All the bodies run on the same damn chakra flow. They are all connected.

How are you comparing tailed beast and sage mode to Nagato's chakra? This has nothing to do with the discussion anyway.

This is my last post since you fail to ever give adequate answers.

lol u mad?

It's like an electrical current.

The chakra, like the electricity, goes round.

It doesn't stop at a dead end (being the path)

It returns to Nagato in a cycle.

Blaze Release didn't state anything since it's only your point of view, but the bodies where however caught in a Genjutsu. That this Genjutsu is supposed to be the strongest, doesn't proves in any way that Pain wouldn't be affected by a weaker version of a Genjutsu, does it? Sasuke, who has lesser skills with Genjutsus than Itachi, fully paralyzed a Genjutsu user and sensor like Shee is. So this page is actually not a prove for Pains resistance against the also powerful illusions Itachi can cause.

Susanoo is not deflecting anything, Kyuubi isn't also, but if Shinra Tenseis force isn't strong enough to push away a certain object, its force will consequently be turned against the user again. Of course a Chou Shinra Tensei will push Susanoo maybe away but I don't see a reason for using it since the interval will render Deva-Paths abilities useless for a while and Itachi will survive it anyway due to Susanoos protection.

Pain can be caught, but Nagato can effortlessly break him out of the illusion.

Banshou Tenin could mess Itachi up inside of Susanoo, even pull him out. Itachi has no chance of lasting the distance with Deva Path. Amaterasu can just be pushed off with a casual ST. Tsukuyomi is usless. Itachi won't physically get near to Deva Path. And the Totsuka blade won't touch Deva Path if he uses Shinra Tensei. Itachi though cannot defend against a Chou Shinra Tensei from an aerial standpoint or a Chibaku Tensei.

deva path immune to genjutsu as nagato is continuously dispersing his chakra,

Deva path can shinra tensei amaterasu.

Susano can't be kept forever.

deva can fly,so, susano punches would not be able to touch him.
deva can fly so totsuka sword can't touch him.

yasaka magatama is similar to rasenshuriken, if itachi can manage to throw two of them within 5 sec time gap, he may win, otherwise, no.

^ ^some of the thoughts which came to my mind.

It's not though, he is Manipulating the bodies, using chakra, he sends chakra into the rods, which go into the chakra networks, he controls the rods, and thus the Networks.

The disruption of the chakra network is a disruption of the rods effects on the chakra networks, which is a disruption of his control, he can regain control of the chakra network.

You need to hear Gamarinsho itself, Nagato did not hear it through the toads, he heard it through the paths.

No he can't. He is sending his chakra into the chakra receivers constantly, his chakra is the Paths chakra. Therefore he can't free them by sending his Chakra into the Paths, since he already do this all the time. A second chakra source is needed in order to interrupt your chakra flow.

Kakashi figured out the interval of Devas Shinra Tensei very quickly though not being as smart as Itachi. Deva cannot just spam his Shinra Tensei in order to deflect all of Itachis attacks. Once Deva repelled one attack, like a Kunai, he is leaving an opening for Itachi where Amaterasu is best suited for.

This is the same argument with Gaara's sand eye, some suggest that Gaara would be caught in Tsukuyomi if his sand Eye looked into a Tsukuyomi eye.

Kakashi is not as smart as Itachi, so now were starting more flame wars?

Nagato can easily change the chakra flow into the rods as he did when he used Chibaku Tensi.

Btw what happens if one of Nagato's paths get's hit by hmm I don't know a Rasenshuriken, what would Nagato be feeling?

Pain's bodies are like security cameras, as stated by Fukasaku. Nagato can basically see what they can see but he doesn't feel what they endure. They're simply just a set of eyes for Nagato to see from. Regarding genjutsu, he would see what the paths are seeing inside of the genjutsu, but he himself would remain unaffected. All it would take then is to disrupt the chakra flowing through the paths, he doesn't have to pump in more chakra, he simply just needs to disrupt the flow of it. Nagato mastered Yin Release at age 10, he knows how genjutsu works.

Deva wouldn't waste in on a kunai. And if Itachi uses Amaterasu, he's going to be in pain and will therefore be vunerable to an attack. Itachi can't use Amaterasu whilst Susanoo is up, so something is going to have to give way.

You underestimate itachi, he is too smart and will come up with a plan to beat deva within the 5 seconds limit.
Chibaku tensei is the only major problem in this battle. But itachi is just too smart and might fool pain to crush a bird clone instead. U_U
Nagato himself will beat itachi, but only deva path can't. That is just underestimation of itachi's skill U_U

This is the argument that Nagato intentionally wanted to get caught in Jiraiya's frog song. The credit goes to Blaze Release as he brought this argument up originally.

A stop in the flow of chakra whilst in genjutsu is usually enough to break you out from it but people are asking, rightly so, if thats the case then why didn't Nagato cut off his chakra while his three paths was caught. There is enough to suggest that Nagato purposely wanted to get caught.

Jiraiya is talking to Ma and Pa about how it is necessary to catch the three paths first rather than they first find Jiraiya and co. Jiraiya even admits that they would loose if the paths are aware of the incoming sound genjutsu. A few later, we find the three paths being aware that a genjutsu is being conducted and has established that its frogs singing, it is important to note that they haven't been caught and yet still make their way towards where the sound is coming from.

Once they enter the room we all know what happens as the three paths get caught in the after distractions and diversions done by Jiraiya. Note one of the paths say "You got me...." Now I believe thats said in a sarcastic tone hence why there are so many dots followed by but its up to your own interpretation. Jiraiya then goes on to how it is important not to underestimate your opponent.

After Jiraiya "kills" the three paths he strongly believes that its finally . However we know that is not the case as says something ironic to Jiraiya and the rest is history.

Nagato could've stopped sending chakra to the chakra rods anytime but didn't. Call it plot no jutsu or clever play by Nagato. I firmly believe its the latter as it gave Jiraiya a sense of false victory and heightened accomplishment. Also this is the reason why goes to say if Jiraiya had known his secrets then the fight would've been a different story.

I think Deva Path is stronger than Itachi for these reasons:

  • - Close combat is dangerous when you fight Deva, since you could get hurt badly by a shinra tensei powerful enough to even kill huge toad summons and break all bones in Gamabunta
  • - Genjutsu which is Itachis main power won't work on a dead body, especially when you know that he has Rinnengan, which is stronger than Sharingan
  • - Amaterasu is a close range jutsu, so to hit Deva, he would have to surprise him in close range, and eventhen, we've seen it's useless since Shinra tensei could push it away
  • - Susanoo: Sure it's a great defense, but this defense won't help against Deva since he can control gravity. So it means he could push/attrack someone with either Shinra tensei or Banshou tenin just by manipulating the center of gravity of his body. In this case, any defense won't help. So he could directly push Itachi or attrack him regardless of Susanoo or something. We've seen that Gaara was able to separate Susanoo from his user(Madara), so Deva who can control gravity could do it even better
  • Totsuka? Supposing it even hurts Deva somehow, you must know how totsuka works to begin with. It takes the soul of the opponent and then the process of sealing starts. But problem here is that Deva is a dead body, so hurting him with totsuka(if he even manage to) would be useless also since he could not take a soul simply because the soul doesn't exist. Deva is only like a puppet Nagato manipulates from far distance

In the worse case of scenario, he can even use Chibaku tensei, something against we've seen Itachi couldn't handle alone

So, i think Deva is stronger than Itachi

itachi shits on every path at 1on1 i bet he can take 4 paths down in a 1v1.

BY THIS CASE CLOSED!

Deva can throw Itachi incredbily high into the sky out of Susanoo, he can use Chibaku tensei, he can crush pull Susanoo it's self apart.

Nice this makes a lot of sense, Nagato could have totally stopped the chakra within the paths momentarily killing them anyway, and then reviving them outside of the Genjutsu, it is possibly that he let them get caught so that they could get closer to Jiraiya.

Yes exactly. Especially since Jiraiya was running around the pipes of Amegakure so Nagato had to find a way to get closer to Jiraiya.

Nagatos Paths are mere bodies through them Nagato is using the Rinnegans abilities. The Yin-Release of Nagato isn't a fact that helps the Paths themselves.

Itachi is a very fast and skilled weapon user. He can throw a bunch of Kunais and Shurikens in a blink of moment and I don't see Deva dodging it, so Shinra Tensei is the only option here. And why Itachi wouldn't use Amaterasu while Susanoo is active? Sasuke could do this as well. Itachi has the better cards here since he has way more options than Deva Path and is faster. It would be enough to send out an explosive Kagebunshin when Deva is using Bansho Tenin, just as Kakashi did it with a Raiton Bunshin. Once Deva attracted this explosive Bunshin to him, he will be dead. Just as Itachi could activate Susanoo in the last second in order to crush him. A skilled and smart Itachi will find enough options.

.[/I]

Yes he can, but we all know itachi is a genius. When kabuto stabbed him first it was a clone, wen killer bee got him it was a clone, when kabuto sliced itachi in half kabuto was already in izanami, so it was a fake.
Itachi is very deceptive and will make nagato think he's won. If the chibaku tensei is done 8/10 times, he will get the bird clone.
Deva path can't beat itachi alone. U_U
