I don't like debating pointless arguments because no matter what i say i won't change your mind about narusaku just like you won't change my mind about naruhina sooo...
To all the people saying that Ohh Kushina told Naruto to find someone like her and Sakura is like her because her hair is a shade of red ( well close) and she can grow long hair.. No. Just stop. If you relate some parts of her personality that's fine. But that's not what Kushina really meant. I think it would be pretty freaking weird if Naruto would get with someone who looks like his own mother. Same with personality. Sure some of the same traits are okay but it's gonna be weird and sick if he marries someone because they look like his mom and act just like his mom. What she meant was finding someone who believes in things the way she does. Loves naruto the way she does, believes in him the way she does and sees the world the way she does... So I'm sorry but NaruHina all the way and anyways in an interview with Kishi, he stated that he thinks it's too cliche to have the main protagonist male get with the main protagonist female... I don't remember what year tho.. That it all
Okay ummmm...I think I've read enough and listened to the opinions of everyone but why is everyone saying hinata deserves naruto or naruto deserves sakura or sakura deserves sasuke??? If kishi really wants to make this show realistic personality and emotionally wise than it's not who deserves each other determines if they should be together. Example: I love me some Jaden Smith ever since I found out about him so because I love him and I have support him and people feel I deserve him! Dosent mean that he HAS to love me back or be with me. Youre just being with them out of guilt That's stupid!!! I don't care how much a person deserve a person or doesn't deserve a person its all about if they love you back or they have a change of heart/feelings for u and also character development helps :shrug: so people who say Hinata deserves Naruto or Naruto deserves Sakura I just :sy: because it's all about their feelings for you since Sakura cares so much for naruto and sees him as a close friend could there relationship progress even more even though she still loves Sasuke (you can love two people at once but one u will always love more) and since Hinata is so determined to be with Naruto will she grow onto him and they start to become an item slowly but surely and develop feelings for her but also love Sakura still too??? I don't think that Sakura loves Naruto in such a way. It's more like brother and sister. She told him that she loves him to free him from his promise. She cares alot for him as a good friend and doesn't want to lose him. She knew he was in danger because of trying to bring Sasuke back and fighting him. That's why she came and said she was over Sasuke. She didn't want to feel responsible for Naruto getting hurt or dying.
Hinata truly loves Naruto. I hope they will be together.
Development:
The biggest thing for me is that Naruto and Sakura have development. They have experienced and seen each other cry, laugh, hurt, be rejected and knocked down and yet they don't think of each other differently. Even when Sakura was hurt by the 4-tails, Sakura never ONCE blamed or saw Naruto any differently. She knew that was not who Naruto was and that is a lot of development in Sakuras character towards Naruto. Though, when has Sakura ever judged Naruto for being the 9-tails container? Naruto took Sakuras hits but never complained. They seen and been the victims of each others arguments, punches, stupidity and ignorance and they still stand strong.
Obsessions
Kishimoto stated that Sakuras love for Sasuke was selfish. All she thought about was Sasuke and didn't care for Naruto or anyone else. I feel that same obsession with Hinata towards Naruto. Sakura had at least acknowledged that Hinata loves Naruto but does Hinata know that Naruto loves Sakura? Of not, she doesn't know Naruto as much as Sai does (which is saying something) or that she doesn't care about his feelings and thoughts on Sakura and wants him for herself. Thus is why I did not like the "holding hands" portion in the war. She is too obsessed and central on Naruto for herself and I feel like she doesn't think about Naruto and how he feels. If Hinata really loved Naruto, she wouldn't force anything and encourage him to do what he feels is right.
Naruto was willing to bring Sasuke back to Sakura even if that would hurt him the most (at the time). He's never once forced or said he would "claim" Sakura and he is wise. He is willing to let her come to him on her own if she does. That would mean she has no obligation or sorrow or choose him out of pity.
Current Standings
There is NO proof that Naruto is over Sakura. His attention is on the war and helping and encouraging his comrades while trying to save/fight Sasuke. Sasuke is #1 on his plate right now so Sakura takes a backseat...so does Hinata. As we know, for years Nauto liked Sakura to the point Sai noticed. If it is that obvious and is a repeated fact for Naruto, I don't think his feelings are going to sway over one small argument to which Sai say's "now I understand why Sakura couldn't tell you the truth.". Though, Sakura is not over Sasuke, it is also not confirmed that Sakura does not love Naruto. Kishimoto states that.

I've always loved sakura. Nobody has an actual good reason to hate on her and i think she would be good with naruto. She's just like kushina which is what she wanted for her son.
I agree that people don't have reasons to hate her so violently but I disagree that Sakura is what Kushina would've wanted for her son. Kushina said to find someone like her. By that she meant for Naruto find a girl who is willing to give her life to protect Naruto like she did. Someone who loves Naruto like she does. If you look at it that way, Hinata is the perfect fit to what Kushina wanted for Naruto. But if its the way of dressing, the attitude... It's Sakura. I'm sorry to all NaruSaku fans but this is very obvious... I'm not a big Sakura fan but honestly, I think she deserves to have the satisfaction of Sasuke coming back to Konoha for her. Sorry i dont think six tails chakra cloak Naruto can talk let alone answer a confession and most of the events after Naruto was greeted by the villagers were skipped. So we really dont know what happened in between.
Similarly in ur fashion: Why hasnt Kishi revealed Tobi's identity? Or shown more about Hashi vs Madara? All will be revealed in correct time and place.
Also does the manga shows everything goes behind the scenes? No not untill the correct time. Hinata still cares deeply about Naruto plus Naruto shows closeness with Hina.... which indicates they might have talked about it already. But the outcome is undetermined.
BTW what is shown is Naruto rejected Sakura's confession after Hinata herself confessed. Why would Naruto reject Sakura may i ask? Oh i know the answer: Naruto knows that Sakura wont ever love Naruto and was lying (and he is correct as Sakura still thinks about Sasuke only as her love interest) and thus accepted the fact.

Also If Sakura 'cared' for Naruto in a romantic in part 1 which ended with Sasuke's escape Sakura was clearly two timing Naruto and Sasuke at once and thus is a ****.
All teammates care for each other, especially when someone promises to bring ur love interest back. Also show me where Sakura reveals that she loves Naruto?
Till the recent chapters she still thinks about Sasuke and her confession was so fake that even Naruto understood it as a lie. Also Sakura cared so much for Naruto that Sai had to come and bitch slap her while explaining her selfishness.
Another thing u need to answer is that, if Naruto was so madly interested in Sakura why did he reject Sakura's proposal? Sure because he knows she will never love him and is moving on.

Similarities:
1. Hot Temper: Well the only similarity that Sakura possesses, but note the fact that at the age when Sakura was crying about for being teased for her large forehead (Ino came to rescue remember?) Kushina beat up the bullies that came after her. Also after growing up Kushina was calmer. Also Kushina needs real provocation to anger while Sakura flips at anything.She is exact opposite of Kushina
2. Hair Color: We pink and red are in a way similar.

1. Kushina loved none except Minato: We all know Kushina was involved with Minato alone, where as Sakura is primarily interested in Sasuke even in latest chapters she was thinking about Sasuke. So this is the biggest and most vital dissimilarity Sakura can have that will set apart from Kushina.
