Why can't sasuke beat pain???

I mean come on I know that like 70% of Naruto fans hates sasuke because he's "gay" and "emo" -.- but still u gotta give the guy some credit now that he awaken the EMS I'm pretty sure he can beat the 6 path of pain

Reasons:

1. Amaterasu- ppl keep saying that the fat pain who can absorb ninjutsu can just absorb it now tell me how he can absorb something that can ignite what ever sasuke is focused on. He can kill five of the pain this way but not the shinra tensei guy

2.genjutsu- sasuke can perform 3 types of genjutsu: sharingan genjutsu, susano'O genjutsu, and tsukoyomi which is one of the most powerful genjutsu there is. I read a tread about this a while ago and so guy said "well if one is under a genjutsu how's sasuke gonna deal with the other 5" and I'm like wtf sasuke cast genjutsu from his eyes and did you forget that all 6 pain vision are linked! So if one falls under his genjutsu all of them is DEAD!

3.susano'O- it is the best defense in Naruto right now! The susano'O has a really fast arrow that is really hard to dodge and he can put Amaterasu on the arrow, he has a sword made out of ameterasu and that big ball of Amaterasu in his third hand

4. Kirin- I know it takes a while to prepare but if he can make it and take preta path out Kirin would take out the rest. On the other tread I read about this shinra tensei can counter attack Kirin I personally don't think so. Naruto withstand shinra tensei with like 30 clones behind him so I'm pretty sure Kirin has the power 2 withstand it but IF shinra tensei can deflect it well sasuke can just wait until he uses it then use Kirin in that 5 seconds

So I think if after this you still think sasuke would not have a chance against the 6 path of pain then your just a hater and I'm not saying he can beat nagato just the 6 path and some ppl always says rinegan is stronger than the sharingan so sasuke would always lose I agree that the rinegan is stronger than the sharingan but if that's ur argument is about eyes then sasuke would have a better chance of beating Pain than naruto cuz last time I check the rinegan is way stronger than regular eyes -.- so ya I'm sure he can beat the 6 path of pain

1. Amaterasu if it has chakra in it pain can absorb it. If he can absorb rasenshuriken which is a far more deadlier attack. he can absorb a slow burning amaterasu.

2.genjutsu. Sasuke has shown just a normal sharingan genjutus. nothing else. Stop making up abilities that Sasuke has not shown to do. Neither is his skill in Genjutsu enough to stop 6 path of pain attacking him all at once. when it would be simple to break out of his genjutsu.

3.susano'O. Return back to one. if it has chakra Pain can absorb it. I'm pretty sure the absorption path and the summon path would be enough to stop sasuke. He has no answer for the dog that everytime it take a hit it split. Nor is he tanking a rhino summoning like naruto did. Summon path from a distance just toss summon after summon like it did with jiraya.

4. Kirin is a freaking joke. It is a one time everything has to be perfect to use and a one shot. At best it drops one of the paths at worst none. Deva path could alter the course of the lightning. Won't matter anyway. hes not going to get a chance with 6 people with shared vision hounding him to use it anyway.

There is a great reason as to why Sasuke will most likely lose to Pain. The battle is just too overwhelming for him even with all these perks that come with his Sharingan. Lets take a look:

1) Genjutsu, despite being linked in all 6 eyes it will most likely not work against Pain. This is because you would have to cast the Genjutsu against Nagato himself in order for it to affect all the bodies. Genjutsu affects the person that it is cast against, so if its cast on one person then it will most likely not affect the other. That is due to the fact that the other Paths can see that particular target being hit by the Genjutsu anyways. Then it just works the same way as if a Jinchuuriki were to break out of it, simply pull them out yourself.

2) Amaterasu- The Preta Path can definitely absorb it. Amaterasu, although very fast and deadly, is still made of chakra. So its able to be absorbed.

3) Susano'o - This is probably the easiest for Pain to take down. Deva Path can pull out Sasuke from the Susanoo using Bansho Tenin. Don't try to say that he can't because Gaara's sand was able to pull Madara out of his. His Susanoo will not be able to keep up with guarding his user.

Pain has many advantages. If Sasuke doesn't know any of his ablities, then he is done in a flash. Even with knowledge I don't think it would make too much of a difference.

-Animal Path has great summonings that can overwhelm even Susanoo's weaponry. The Cerberus Dog's won't die from being hit by Amaterasu. Also the bird summonings give Pain the aerial advantage.
-Preta Path can absorb nearly all of Sasuke's attacks. The only one that he wouldn't be able to absorb is Kirin, since it is based from the natural lightning in the air. But come on now, surely Pain would not give him that much time to set it up.
-Deva Path can floor the entire village of Konoha with a powerful Shinra Tensei. I do not think that Sasuke can handle the punishment of that.

So Sasuke most likely loses to Pain in an encounter. Only a few lucky battles will he ever come out of it alive.

Um..no one is giving reasons? Are you ****ing retards missing this post? It gives very clear reasons why 9/10 sasuske will loose, even Naruto got lucky because Hinata intervened :sy:

Fact is u give deva path his gravity from the start and all paths at 100%
Which we never even seen and he will lose
Naruto with all his help/plot still pretty much lost
Combos naruto didn't have to worry bout due to plot (the giant ST that gave deva a cool down to use powers again)konan added this weaken all the other paths too

For real how many people died to get info on pain
In a 1 on 1(6pains all at once) how will u learn his powers in time

For exame kakashi learned bout devas 5 sec cool down cause deva was by himself only usein 1 move
Then kakashi also had back up throwin a million things at deva makein him use ST a few times point is a lot of people die try to find the info that will later still not much much
So just think how would u kno ST has 5 sec cool down if u can't get him to use it enough to find out due to other paths/sums/combos

And no 1 has ever faced the 6 pains at once at they best
Intact no 1 has ever faced the rinnegan 1 on 1 without intel every rinnegan user we ever seen is always outnumbered fighting army's villages etc

We don't underrate sasuke u underrate pain kishi made it pretty clear pain/nagato was plot

When tobi went to talk to naruto he didn't say how did u defeat nagato he asked how he changed his mind....naruto couldn't so how does sasuke

I always pictured sasuke as more of a one on one fighter. I don't think he could beat pain because his stamina isn't as high as narutos as well. I'm pretty sure narutos stamina helped him in his fight with the already weakened pain, let alone the 9 tails coming out doing some damage by itself. Sussanoo is powerful but even with it I would still give it to pain.

Even if he activates susanoo at that point it will be absorbed. And dont forget Kurama is one of the fastest things alive in narutoverse and pein had no problem outspeeding it. Dont know abaut genjitsu I think its useless while Nagato controls peins he will notice that chakra changed in hes puppets and cancel it. Anyway thats how I see it.

In the gravitational meteor thing jutsu itachi said that it can be destroyed if attaked with full power

and they shot a beast bomb and a rasenshuriken into that meteor attack, along with itachi's attack. you give the uchihas too much credit.remember. the rennigan can be awakened/evolved after getting to the EMS. so it is superior. Madara became a beast after he showed the rennigan. otherwise, he was caught in a rasenshuriken, even with EMS.

The dog was stabbed by frog from middle of its spine and showed no reaction ontop of being crushed it still showed no reaction to it and just went barking and rampaging around. Its safe to assume if you cant decapicate it you wont kill it by amaterasu it will just come at you while burning. Ulike the other summons the dog shows no feeling for pain and can keep going untill its released or rooted somehow. So amaterasu wont do much here it will continue to rampage (remember how slow amaterasu was burning raikages hand? The dog will be there for a while even while hit by it)

Ok so the point of this is to explain y i think shared vision doesnt = 6 paths under genjutsu

As most of us kno genjutsu works by inserting your chakra into your
opponents brain area of chakra network makein them feel/see what u want

Now lots of people think Tsukuyomi 1 pain all fall but the paths only share vision not chakra and its the chakra affecting your chakra network thats creates the genjutsu

My reasonin as to y paths dont share chakra is preta path
It sucked up narutos sage chakra yet it was the only 1 to turn to stone

This also brings to light the fact that chakra absorbed by preta path benefit only that path if that wasnt the case nagato would have had more chakra from what preta path got from village

On a side note
plz people nagato isnt weak to genjutsu ..the toads said j man
was never good at genjutsu so pain wouldnt see it comeing
And when he was caught he praised j man sayin i never thought u
would have such a poweful genjutsu so ya genjutsu is every1s weakness
