Ok. here is a easy way. it was said he can only go spacey for about 5-7 mins i forgot (In the konan fight) so its safe to say when he sits there like a rock looking ignorant as ever. he is physical. So here is what im thinking. Naruto goes towards him. but knowing tobi he gonna go Spacey Time on us. but instead of naruto pretty much going through him. He stays IN HIM!. and to enforce tobi wont go nowhere. Bee, KAkashi, and guy will be right beside him. Boxing tobi in... so when tobi gets in his physical form. Him and naruto will be like siamese twins. OR. Tobi body will split... and if tobi trys to touch naruto he will be physical again and SPLAT! =DD

Well you never know if he has ALL the abilities of the rinnegan unless its shown in the manga. Different sharingan users have different sharingan techniques so maybe the rinnegan is like that as well.
