Edo Released, but Gold and Silver Chakra Remained?

If the Edo was released for all but Madara, wouldn't that mean that the chakra was released as well? Sent back from whence it came? Dan's chakra went with him, right? Mu's not ghosting around with his chakra, right? So, why do the two So6P relics still hold Ginkaku and Kinkaku chakra if the edo was released?

Now, even if you suppose that the relics are such good seals that the chakra is unable to escape to the afterlife, wouldn't Gedo need to digest the relics, thereby releasing the chakra to the afterlife, to become the Juubi?

What's the deal here?

Once sealed in the Sages Tools Nothing can get out. So the chakra remains there no matter the case. It's an unbreakable seal. They belonged to the Sage of Six Paths. Dan could make his spirit leave his body. So he gave what was left of his chakra to Tsunade. It makes perfect sense

Their souls where sealed into one of the Sages tools, so their power is in there forever. The other Edos who where sealed souls might of gone back as the seals used on them where not as powerful as one created by the Sage of the Six Paths.

OK, first, another one of these threads? I searched and didn't find another, and then I posted it.

Second, so how's Gedo going to access the chakra in the pots?

Dan's chakra didn't disapear with him. He gave it to Tsunade remember? Since he actually put it in Tsunade, his chakra became her chakra and remained with her. Its similar with the Gold and Silver Brothers, they were actually sealed in something. Meaning their chakra is stuck in that gourd like Dan's chakra is stuck in Tsunade. Other characters like Sasori and Deidera weren't "sealed". They were just immobilized, or in other words they were tied up so they couldn't move. So their chakra wasn't placed in something else.

Sorry about that. But the point still remains that the chakra, by right, should not be able to be extracted by Gedo.

Maybe Tobi released the chakra the same way the Hachibi was released by the 3rd Raikage. The

and its not a mistranslation. Here's another translation of that page:

I think Kishi genuinely made a boo-boo this time. I've thoroughly checked this out. And its not a mistake.

The Kyuubi could simply be misinformed also. Or maybe he meant that escape is impossible. We know that the Hachibi was released somehow. Escape and release are in fact two different concepts. BUT!!!...its still clear that the Kyuubi was talking shit...while proof, that states otherwise, towered behind him. The Hachibi.

Sorry, vUmbrav, maybe next time I should post "OMG, Sasuke is so OP, lolz!!!" or something more in that vein? How those guys get out of the gourds and incorporated into Gedo Mazo could be a pretty important plot point. Thus, I wanted theories. July 2012 join date and calling me noob?

Sarutobi Sasuke, you are right. Escape and release are two different concepts here. So, if Tobi is able to trigger a release, does that mean that the Hot and Cool Siblings will be carving their way out of the 10 Tails?
