Anime conventions and cosplaying

So any of you guys go to anime conventions or are in the art of cosplaying? My most rescent con was two weeks ago, I cosplayed as zabuza, and johny young bosch( I know I mispelled it) was there with his band. If you guys dont know who he is he is the guy that played the black power ranger in the early 90s, and does the voice of ichigo, kiba from wolfs rain, sasori from naruto and many others(english dub). When I get the chance ill post pics

I go to one convention around October every year, though I want to visit one in the Netherlands and one that happens in March but my dad doesn't want to drive me to there -_-
I collect costumes, but I don't cosplay. I'm too shy for that ^^;

Well if you cover your face, why be shy? Like me I was zabuza so most of my face was covered.

i hate cosplay (wearing the character's clothes and acting like them)
if it's only making their techniques i cosplayed many times with my naruto-friends in the school

I can't say that I have the will or the guts to cosplay, but I wouldn't mind going to a convent and I will as soon as I get the chance!

I want to cosplay eventually in life. Probably as Jugo (Naruto) or Free in Soul Eater. Maybe Excalibur from SE too xd

I am VERY shy, but f it, cosplaying while going to conventions is a great experience. If people like your costume, they ask you for a picture, and you ask for them, etc. Its a good escape from reality, plus fun, plus artistic. We cant let shyness overcome our chance to try something new and have fun. Yolo
