I just looked em both up, and they're more similar than you think:

Sasori's poison:
- Requires only a scratch
- Paralyzes you and leaves you in pain for 3 days until you die
- Doesn't require chakra and doesn't have bad consequences depending on how it's used.

Itachi's Tsukuyomi:
- Victim must look Itachi in the eyes
- You will be tortured for 3 days but you won't die
- Requires a lot of chakra and puts much strain on the body

Only two people in the world can make an antidote for it, and the only way
to escape a tsukuyomi is with another MS. I'm not trying to be a fanboy but
I think he's being underrated...

You will be tortured for 3 days but WON'T DIE? ARE YOU KIDDING ME? Go read what Kakashi said to Itachi after Itachi tortured him, dumbass.

Also, Itachi > Sasori, damn fanboy!!!

To be honest, you can't compare the two. That's like saying Music > NB. Makes no sense.

Well Itachi wasn't trying to kill Kakashi, Tsukuyomi is a reality that the user decides, remember when he used it on Kakashi he was being tortured for probably more than a minute and it was only a second that went by, and it left Kakashi in a useless state for a long time until Tsunade broke him out of it. So if Itachi wanted to he could have just walked up to Kakashi after and killed him. Or who knows he could have permanently shattered Kakashis mind leaving him brain dead. Tsukuyomi is what the user decides it to be. But the fact remains it uses a lot of chakra, and dims the users light where as the Poison does not. I'd still say Tsukuyomi is better though the poison is amazing, and once an antidote was made its known knowledge so anyone could make it after that.
And I would never underrate Any of the Akatsuki, he was after all able to Bring down the Third Kazekage who was said to be the strongest of the Kazekage. And the only reason he was beaten was because Chiyo also was an expert puppet Master and she had help from Sakura.

He used it on Kakashi and Sasuke, did they die? No!

Also, we're not talking about characters, read the thread before you comment, dumbass.
I think the only fanboy here is you...

Please don't involve Susanoo here, we're talking about two jutsus.

I agree. Very underrated character. Itachi fans just can't accept the strength of other characters. Plus he won't see the poison because it doesn't contain chakra. If approached correctly, Sasori could win this one. It would take some very sneaky moves, but if Itachi gets scratched he's done.

He is immune because he is an human puppet

Where has it said that makes him immune? Genjutsu works by planting ones own chakra into the targets brain, and Sasori still has a brain. Did i miss something?

No one knows if genjutsu works, he doesn't have a brain, he has a superorgan.
It might work, it might not...

“the effects of genjutsu are illusory; instead of attacking the victim's body, like taijutsu or ninjutsu, genjutsu techniques manipulate the flow of chakra in the victim's brain, thus causing a disruption in their senses.”

Not that hard, eh? Genjutsu is chakra inserted into the brain, to manipulate the flow of chakra into the brain, thus causing disruption into the five senses, which Genjutsu tampers with.

Now, let’s look at Sasori:

Sasori is very interesting because he might be the only one who is/was truly immune to genjutsu. He lacks a brain therefore his senses can’t be tampered with. It would literally have no effect on him because you can’t manipulate the flow of chakra in his brain without reaching his nonexistent brain.
Instead, he has a heart. With that heart, he is able to function like a regular human being, which he successfully managed to do by removing internal structures.

These are facts since it was not only stated by the man himself but also the databook:

[The Living Core]
Sasori's person embodies the idea of everlastingness and indestructibility. But to generate chakra, a live bodily portion is indispensable. That very part of Sasori is now his Core, and his one and only weakness. In the middle of his fight against Chiyo, he hesitated, for a split second, to attack her. His parents. They pierced through his Core, in something resembling an embrace. Heart and body alike, Sasori had been unable to turn completely into a puppet.

In essence, Sasori is generally safe from genjutsu altogether. Obviously, there are rare exceptions like Izanami and Izanagi. One bypasses all the senses entirely while the other is cast on oneself.
