Why is itachi so hated on?

seriously ppl disrespect him so much. they talking about nagato will own him, he is overrated and blah blah. this guy took down a whole clan even though he had help. took down orochimaru with one hit. easily escaped from jiraiya while he was almost out of chakra. helped naruto and bee stop edo pain. the only other character on naruto universe who escaped from edo tensei. and the most amazing part. 1. NOT ONLY DID HE TECHNICALLY BEAT SASUKE BUT HE FOUGHT THE WHOLE BATTLE WHILE HE WAS ILL AND HIS ONLY OBJECTIVE WAS TO EMPTY SASUKE'S CHAKRA. 2. HE HAD TO DEFEAT KABUTO WHILE KEEPING HIM ALIVE. now one last point imagine this guy with EMS and reason i say this is because if he was greedy enough he could easily taken sasuke eyes. that easily puts him on the real madara level. another important point is stop saying this technique is weak against that technique and shit because that does not determine who would win. it is about how you use your technique. for example naruto used windmill shuriken on pain and guess what happen it got sucked. then he found strategy to counter that. they had an amazing vision he found way to counter that so this is not ametarasu against that tech but a persons strategy against another and we all know his intellegence is second to non

My whole point is lets admit he is one of the greatest shinobi ever. just imagine sasuke with out itachi. he is top 5. he has never lost a battle in this series. he is undefeated. so unless you have proof he lost give the guy his probs because all that you guys have is opinions

I don't hate him, I think he is overrated by the fanboys.

In some respects, fanboys make me hate certain characters more and more.

Kabuto didn't want to stop the jutsu. To cancel Itachi he would have to cancel every single edo he possessed otherwise he could just cancel it while fighting him. By the way Kabuto canceled Itachi indeed that is why he is not alive nor even as an Edo.

Itachi can't beat Nagato, but some Itachi fans think so, that's why he is so overrated.

Long time since i've seen Minato fans say Minato > Nagato, but Minato is second

I won't go too hard on you because you're new around here. But;

- Kabuto could've cancelled Itachi at any point, that much is clear. Itachi didn't 'escape' anything.

- Itachi is the most overrated character around here. People think he can be classed with the likes of Nagato or Naruto; do me a favour.

ok maybe you didn't read the part where i said in my original post that battles are situational. if he would have released everyone didn't he acheive his goal? which is a win for him. seriously kabuto himself said "he is on another level" and i hope i don't have to tell you the ppl who were controlled by edo tensei. but i guess you completely ignored when he said that part
