Why is itachi so hated on?

My whole point is lets admit he is one of the greatest shinobi ever. just imagine sasuke with out itachi. he is top 5. he has never lost a battle in this series. he is undefeated. so unless you have proof he lost give the guy his probs because all that you guys have is opinions

Give me a break, one of the greatest shinobi ever, he lost to Sasuke. I know he let him win but he has still been defeated as Sasuke drove him to death. This is what we are talking about when we say overrated.

He was 'on another level' because the Edo Tensei couldn't hold him; Itachi broke Kabuto's control over him, he didn't 'escape' Edo Tensei. Or are you suggesting he is on a higher level than Edo Nagato or Edo Madara? He used Shisui's power (Kotoamatsukami) to accidently put himself under genjutsu. So not only did he not fully escape Kabuto's jutsu, he fluked casting a genjutsu over himself when it wasn't even his own power. Part one Naruto is probably capable of doing that.

ok maybe you didn't read the part where i said in my original post that battles are situational. if he would have released everyone didn't he acheive his goal? which is a win for him. seriously kabuto himself said "he is on another level" and i hope i don't have to tell you the ppl who were controlled by edo tensei. but i guess you completely ignored when he said that part

I know how great Itachi was and yup sure I know Kabuto realized he made a mistake summoning Itachi as an edo in fact Itachi was the weakness of this jutsu(anyone able to use izanami should be totally harmful to this jutsu).

Kabuto was confident about his new power so didn't want to quit everything that suddenly.

From 100% 2% are those who hate Itachi... If those 2% exist...
Itachi is one of the most harmful dude he can beat lot of top tiers even tho he might not be as highly ranked as them.

- Kabuto could've cancelled Itachi at any point, that much is clear. Itachi didn't 'escape' anything.

A completely baseless statement, considering you are describing Jiraiya as if he was at his maximum capacity; far from it. Are you claiming that Itachi could easily elude Sage Mode Jiraiya. In any case, I find your stating of Itachi running away from Jiraiya as an achievement desperate.

first of all maybe i should give you the links of the multiple of the links of the threads i have seen made solely to underrate itachi so you can shut up.

secondly you haven't proven anything about itachi escaping i just got tired of you arguing without facts while i gave you valid points so don't act like you proven anything...sorry

thirdly, under what facts or evidence do you have that he killed them while they were sleeping? it was never proven but like always you just like to add your 2 cents. also him striking his parents from the back. THEY LET HIM. do you really think he can easily sneak behind them like that? they already knew go reread the chapter. if it was that easy he wouldn't seeked help.

fourth. that illness limited his ability to fight. he couldn't even avoid a basic double shuriken. go reread the chapter again. even zetsu emphasized that point

fifth. this is the closest valid point you have. but the fact that itachi had advantage on edo cancels with the fact he wasn't going for the kill. so basic math two things cancel = same result nothing changed from the outcome.
