What is the point of letting Killer B live

I am a big fan of Killer B but I see no point in letting him live unless the series is going to have a Part III where only they somehow escape the Jubi's Genjutsu and go after Tobi for 300+ more chapters; If this happens I'll be happy and feel trolled at the same time U_U
