Sasuke has several advantages sm naruto didnt have vs 6 paths:

1. Plenty of instant 1 shot moves
2. Susanoo w/ ball of amateratsu ( he instantly took out 8+ zetsus)
3. Genjutsu
4. Susanoo defence
5. Chidori ranged attacks/ chidori nagashi

Taking into all these abilites, only 2 of 6 paths might be able to survive no. 2: deva path w/ almighty push and maybe if the one that can absorb ninjutsu can absorb it. Sasuke can the then kill him with swordplay deva path gets done in with ninjutsu.

A good Shinra tensei can blow away clouds/ rinnegan controls all forms of chakra nature/ Pain can control rain/ A good ST may as well deflect Kirin if it can blast natural earth, trees etc/ Kirin is still a ninjutsu (have u seen tiger shaped lightning anywhere?) and thus may be absorbable by preta

Naruto never truly won:
Deva path inactive for a while.
It was capture naruto not kill naruto.
Naruto didnt defeat outer path (+ other six paths) Nagato.

It was mostly won due to plot.

how will he deflect something that goes ass fast 1/1000 per second and i dont think pain going to blow the cloudss away then its like he knows sasuke is using kirin he wont know even itachi a ****ing allll smart ninja didnt know what sasuke was upto you right about that nature shit i agree but i dont think that pain who can absorb is going to protect al the pains in that wide strike and alot preperation ? if he uses amteraseru and shoot 3 firebals in the air its enough to use kirin

Well Nagato/pain is a sensor plus even a idiot can see somethings wrong when the clouds turn fishy, plus Sasuke has to put a charged hand towards the sky to attract the lighning which indicates his purpose good enough.
Cos if u remember correctly Zetsu realised Sasuke's technique long before sasuke began to explain it (Zetsu wldnt have heard Sasuke's voice anyway) and Itachi simply didnt react much whether he knew what was going on or not was not explained.
Plus Pain can just control the clouds as in Amakugare.
Plus how did Itachi put up a Susanoo in less than 1/1000 th of a second? Dont underestimate characters.
So Sasuke can fight six paths at once and shoot katons at the sky without being harmed?
Also if Sasuke uses Amaterasu, Deva can just push it on Sasuke/Susanoo with a ST blast.
