We are forgetting the fact that Madara is also a manipulative person, leader of Akatsuki and at one point controller of the 9 tails.
Who guarantees that the story he told Sasuke is even true?
He is obviously using Team Hawk to acomplish his goals.

I believe Itachi was in his own way preparing Sasuke to become strong enough to defeat Madara and not revealing the truth was simply a part of his plan (to motivate Sasuke, which may have backfired after Madara?s talk).
He is probably one of the characters that have since the beginning had their past and intentions remain very mysterious.

some ideas

hi all .. i am new at the forum and i like to add some ideas...

first: to the ones who think pein looks worried... really i think pein is a lot more powerfull than most ppl believes.. thing is that right now the god realm ( the most powerfull of realms ) needs to recover his energy thats why he is sending noobs ataqs to naruto. The second he is able to fight i presume pein is going to let the other realms out so he can focus only in god realm ( like his friend sugest in ther last chapter )... thing i also think that might happen ( but not untill 433 /434 or more ) is god realm will try to scape in some way after he uses a big teqnique and maby kill someone else, thats the time when naruto will try to directly find nagato ( now that he is able to feel others charkra ), thats where the big fight will start .. or maby not cause nagato can be out of chakra cause of the super tecniqe he will use.

talking about kakashi, i really dont know how dead is he.. really i hope he is dead, and not another stupid way of drama like when chouji, neji and kiva was about to die or when gaara dies .. so anything can hapen ...

well talking for 423 chapter "melee", we all know what does that meens, and we also see how naruto is able to fight with a strage way of taijutsu that like the old frog said " is really dangerous" using frog katas... the thing is i dont think hes new and finall teqnike are frog katas, it mus be something he learn alone , that he only can use...

someone talk about a "trowable Fuuton-rasen-shuriken".. that will happen.. but i dont think now..

Look at the 6 Pein Body's formation in 431, Hell Realm is behind Deva Realm, with the other 4 in front. He's going to use the 4 in front to determine Naruto's Skills, and will most likely revive them using Hell Realm's Technique...which is why Hell Realm is behind Deva Realm.

I agree with you. Naruto is a lot stronger. Forget the "help" the other guy mentioned in the post. He's not really getting help, he's getting intelligence from the slug, not assistance. Regarding the additional frogs, he has the strength/practice to summon them. Jiraya should have summoned the toads if he could while fighting the original Pain. Could he have done more damage to some of the additional bodies if he knew the truth? Of course. But I doubt he would've been able to defeat all of them as easily as Naruto is doing. If Naruto faced Sauske right now, he's whup him up quick. And yes Naruto is getting help. But think about all the years when he had no one to teach or guide him? It's obvious he can learn quicker than most (look how fast he learned Rasengan). Just give the cat his props in the fact that he busts his ass off. He still doesn't pick up stuff as fast as Sauske would though. He just has huge amounts of chakra.

She might have some new jutsus, though, that are badass, that the 5th doesn't have... Just a guess.

I don't think she passed Tsunade just yet. If you look at the path of the other 2 who were taught by the Sannin, Sauske surpassed Orichimaru and Naruto surpassed Jiraya before they died. Tsundae can't die yet because she still has much to learn and no one there to teach her (Shizune is probably done for). That's why I don't think Tsunade will die just yet.

remember sasuke now can use the mangekyou sharingan.. and thats really powerfull..also he can use genjutsu agains naruto ( naruto one of the worst using genjutsu agains sasuke, one of the best).... the only thing i can think that migh help naruto to stay out of danger against genjutsus is the power that itachi gave him ( remember the black genjutsu birds coming inside narutos mouth )

I've never heard about the degrees of death is it like: not really much dead; so-so (50-50%); give me a new J-man book & I'll be back (special case for Kakashi)))))))

Pa frog said that Naruto can stay in sage mode for extended period of time in battle only. Because in battle you have to move and once you used up your natural chakra the sage mode is over. But then Pa frog said that he'll fuse with Naruto to gather natural chakra but that didn't work out. So, by now we know that Naruto used his shadow clones to gather chakra by his comments "look right and left at the same time". So, I think Naruto can use Natural chakra indefinitely.

I agree with you. Everytime in the past when Naruto has had to "look left and right at the same time" he used Shadow Clones to do so (Rasengan, Futon Rasengan) so I think it's the same here.

We hear about degrees of death at least when Sasuke meets up with the barrier ninjas from the Sound village: When they say he has to 'die' once before going on... then they put him in that backpack barrel and seal it... I think they said he was only going to be half dead or something.

Just a thought. Like a lot of you who think Naruto's got a throwable rasen-shuriken, I do too. But if it were all big like a normal one or bigger, I think it would be too dangerous to throw in a place where others are around. So, I was thinking or visualizing it. What if it starts off big, he throws it, and since he can't keep supplying chakra to it, it starts to shrink. Then, when it hits, it will still do some good damage, but maybe not as much as when Kazuku gets hit by it.

Well, it seems like you made a good point. How did you know Kishi said Naruto was stronger than Sasuke right now? Also, I was not referring to Nagato being tired, but to Pain's bodies being quite exhausted from having fought the strongest ninja in Konoha. The fact that Nagato was controlling them, or their combat positions has nothing to do with Pain being tired (if you read the last manga). And any ways, after I wrote my first post on the topic I realized I was wrong and decided to leave it there for the sake of arguement. I.e.: if Naruto has surpassed Jiraiya (stronger than Itachi and Kisame combined) it means he has also surpassed Sasuke.

I refer you to the episode where itachi and kisame were following naruto but didn't want to confront him because jiraya was there,because he is a legendary sannin and they thought they would lose.... don't believe me look it up it's around one of the episodes when itachi and kisame come to konoha and then naruto goes off with jiraya.... i'm here all week

I have a thought reguarding Negato. I think Negato is really that huge brain they saw when Konoha was scanning pain's mind. I think Negato removed his brain and his brain is inside of that tower with the face on it in Pein's village.

lol i found this funny when i read it,no it won't be a brain naruto has to have someone to confront,can you imagine him kicking a brain around!!ha!it will be someone with a frail body or they are dying and using up their life source by using the ability of god realm,he's hiding behind the bodies in his tower that transmits his chakra to the piercings of the bodies.The brain was just to emphasise that they were trying to go through the bodies memories....
