Chapter 11: Old Friends Colide
Konan and I were inspecting a region that we have been looking in for awhile now. A tip said that Tobi's lair was around here somewhere. It had been about two months since I left Konoha. I was in no rush to get back. Konan with Konan at my side, I felt more at ease.
Suddenly I saw it. A massive structure that looked like it was made of bone was only a few miles away. Naturally, I led Konan to it's location. The area was twisted and disturbing and reeked of the dead. I went in first. I had this wierd sensation. I could see wierd blotches of color in my eye. Two of them. Sasuke mentioned being able to see Chakra in color. Perhaps this is what he meant. We proceeded on and into a large dark room.
It was pitch black. I couldn't see much of anything. Suddenly a flash of color appeared in my sharingan eye. I tried to focus my Rinnegan. The shape of a man and a Venus flytrap appeared.
"Zetsu!" I called out.
"Correct, Naruto. I didn't expect you to find us so soon," Zetsu's deeper voice called out.
"What are you guys doing? Tobi and Sasuke are dead," I called out.
"Hm, you have the all seeing Rinnegan and yet you are so blind. Sasuke is alive and well and is currently at Konoha. Stealing the Tailed beasts," Zetsu's lighter voice replied.
"What?!" Konan and I exclaimed in unison.
"Actually Zetsu, I have just returned," the familiar voice of Sasuke said behind me. I turned around to see the red headed woman and the orange haired man standing by him. In Sasuke's forhead was a strange mark. At least that is what I thought it was. I took a closer look. It was a third eye, and worse. It was a Rinnegan. "How do you like it, Naruto? It seems that once again I am ahead of you. We both have the sharingan. But mine is far superior. We both have the Rinnegan, but mine can combine with Amaterasu and Susanoo. You have one Bijuu, and I have six. How can you possibly beat me now?" he asked as he made handseals and the Gedo Mazo appeared behind him.
I looked in awe as Sasuke controlled the terible beast. I took a step back. I tapped my hand and I instantly went into Sage mode.
"Where did you get that eye?" Konan asked, terrified by the creature that crippled Nagato.
"I got it from the old white haired man in Tobi's old lab. Along with some other trinkets. I'm guessing that man is that one you spoke so kindly of. What was his name, Nugita? Nagisha?" He asked in a mocking way.
"Nagato!" I screamed. Konan looked at Sasuke with rage.
Sasuke snapped his fingers and spoke, "That's right. Well anyway his name matters little to me. What is important is that now we have evened the playing field. No, I'm sorry. The playing field is far from even. I have far surpassed you now Naruto."
"Not for long," I said as I jumped up above him and onto the head of the Gedo Mazo. "Gedo Mazo, listen to me! Do not except him as your master! Obey me!" I screamed as my rinnegan pulsed. A black rod came up behind me. Five of Pain's black rods suddenly punctured me in the back. I offered it some of my chakra. I used Kurama in order to keep my body stable. Once the offering was done, my rinnegan pulsed again and the beast disipeared. Sasuke rushed me, holding the sword that once belonged to Orochimaru. I felt my body disipearing as I opened the Sharingan wide open. I appeared next to Konan. I grabbed a hold of her shoulder and just as Sasuke tried to attack, we disipeared, into Tobi's world.
Once inside, Konan and I took a second to breath. We looked at each other with a lot of saddness in our eyes. She fell into my arms and started crying. I could tell she was saddened that another horrible person took advantage of Nagato's corpse. I thought for a moment and made a desiscion.
"Konan..."
"Yes, Naruto?"
"I have a plan, but I need you to suport me."
"I will suport anything you plan to do. I am the support to the bridge of your dreams."
"Okay, when we get out there. I need you to stay close to me and give me as much camoflauge as possible so we will be well hidden. Like what you did with Nagato during the invasion."
"Very well, but why?"
I pulled out a small scroll from my pocket.
"I kept these in case we ever needed them. When I first arrived in Amegakure I got the last piece of the puzzle. Kuchiyuse no Jutsu!"
As I slammed my hand into the ground, Konan watched as the figures appeared before her. She looked in awe and instantly knew what I was doing. I began to prepare for my final battle with Sasuke.

"Damit!!!" I yelled. Throwing a chair against the wall and shattering it. "I was so close. I was so close to surpassing him. Then he goes and steals the tailed beasts back. I am going to make him pay. Zetsu!" I called out.
"Yes Sasuke?" both of Zetsu's voices responded.
"Is this Nagato so special that they will come back?" I asked.
"He is prescious to Konan and I doubt that Naruto will go far without fighting you. They will be bac-" Zetsu replied before suddenly being trampled over by a strange man appearing in the room. He had a long orange ponytail and several piercings. And Rinnegan eyes. Another one suddenly appeared and grabbed Zetsu by the head and quickly pulled his soul out. I stood back amayzed as both Zetsu's fell dead. The first man slammed his hands into the ground and more men appeared. Six in total, all with orange hair of different styles, accept the bald one. They all had piercings and they all had Rinnegan eyes.
"What is this? I thought only Nagato and Madara had the Rinnegan," I called out. I noticed they all wore Akatsuki cloaks and one of them had a ring on his thumb. They all wore Amegakure headbands that were crossed out. The one with the ring stepped forward. He had short spiky hair. "Who the hell are you?"
"We are Pain...WE Are God!"
