Am I right in thinking EMS Sasuke would beat Itachi 9 times out of 10?

i can agree when it comes to the fans but in all actuality he isnt. itachi has potential to defeat anyone because he knows that every jutsu has a weakness, which is why this thread has a tough question for me. because itachi can always resort to izanami or izanagi.

for that database comment, itachi isnt the most powerful at all, but is absolutely one of the smartest, he could probably go thought for thought with shikamaru.

Sasuke's base skills have also improved since his battle with Itachi. I know he doesn't have the CS anymore but I am pretty sure his speed, reaction skills, stamina, intelligence all has increased. Although not on Itachi's level just yet. Once Sasuke reaches Itachi's age, he will probably be superior in everything but intelligence.

Although I believe Sasuke is now seeking true knowledge and will become very intelligent in the near future.

noone can know the power that Itachi hav. Because when Itachi was fighting Sasuke he was not fighting 100%. so you can't say that Sasuke has 9 out 10 of beat Itachi. even I'm a Itachi fan I wold give both of them a 50 50.

Seriously, sasuke wins. itachi is my all time favorite but this is just how it's going to be sasuke>itachi. itachi hands down more wise and intelligent. I think they're both equal in taijutsu. itachi is better at genjutsu(do not even argue this seriously.) sasuke has better ninjutsu. sasuke is supposed to have better chakra but it seems a dying itachi can keep up. honestly though itachi is better. plot is what makes sasuke stronger. sasuke has itachis eyes so part of that power was from itachi himself. in a fight, last seen of itachi that's not edo was horribly sick. so in a vs battle we have to use that itachi and nothing else no healthy itachi because that just doesn't exist somehow. so going off that logic that people created, ems sasuke can't be matched up against itachi because he has his eyes. itachi can't go up against his own eyes that's bull shit. Only way possible is if the circumstances are that he is an edo. so itachi>sasuke

yes and itachi didn't get slice in half by kabuto or would have been dead multiple times.

Itachi stated that he let himself hit on the purpose that Edo Tenseis recovery will let any damage useless; otherwise he wouldn't have let himself hit that easy.

itachi was never hit, the battle actually ended when he was stabbed the first time by kabuto, what we were seeing was the loop progressing in kabuto's head

OT: it's actually hard to say which one would win now that sasuke has EMS, other than eton and stamina, sasuke hasn't really shown any game changing justu that would place him above itachi. itachi still has tsukuyomi. but even though tsukuyomi is still an option, sasuke with EMS has more insight and is even more likely to break through tsukuyomi. but at the same time itachi still seems superior in battle tactics and experience (with sharingan and in battle.) even if its a healthy itachi i can only see a stalemate once both pull out susannoo unless TS blade is able to peirce through susanoo same being for sasuke amatarasu blade. other than that sasuke might win due to less strain on his body with EMS

Are you trolling or just stupid? Sasuke beat him because Itachi wanted to die from him. Itachi could of still killed him while sick. Just face it that Sasuke is not STRONGER, he doesn't have the Sage weapons,Izanami,Shisuis genjutsu,last of all POWER.
