Proof that Third Kazekage > Third Raikage (Actual Explanation inside)

OK so.

As in who is stronger?? Ii would have to go with the Third Raikage why? because of his lightening armor.. And the only thing that hurt him was the Tailed beast bomb.
The third Raikage took on 1000 shinobi.. hmm only feat I find higher then that is Hashirama's. Otherwise that right there is the highest feat in NARUTO.


In intelligence 3rd Kazekage is the man, So far all the Kazekages have been smart ones. So Kazekage takes the battle of the Brains.

Jutsus/ Techniques: Kazekage> Raikage.. Kazekage has more techniques that are known.

Impact of the techniques: ok if Kazekage fought the same way as gaara does..then the impact of their techniques is Raikage> Kazekage.

Now the flaws: Raikage really has no flaws.. he is a experienced fighter, besides the fact that he can't attack from long range BUT he makes it up with his speed. Kazekage however does have flaws.. can he be able to react fast like Minato?? or naruto?. so his sand attacks are only useful if he can react to the Raikage.

guys heres my opinion dont really care if you troll or flame me for it lol dont really bother me im just putting facts out there.

the 3rd kazekage is no doubt a strong shinobi, he was hailed as the strongest kazekage.
now sasori a s-rank criminal who defeated him at the age of 15, when he left the village tell me something if you think the 3rd raikage aka A Dad can defeat sasori no problem? they why in the hell would you think the 3rd kazekage has any chance against the strongest raikage? who can go toe to toe with a tailed beast? xD

This is a very good explanation, well thought out and detailed +rep for that. Now then for my answer, to me it could go either way. If the third kazekage was intelligent as you say then he might be smart enough to figure out NOTHING can pierce his skin except his own technique. So therefore the third kaze might manipulate his arm/hand and pierce himself.

The third Raikage would have to do absolutely nothing except run the third kaze out of Chakra and then keep going for the kill.

I think one thing we totally overestimate as far as the 3rd Raikage goes is this notion that you can't harm him. Truly he has one of the best physical defenses if not the best physical defense we have seen in the manga, but lets be clear there are many abilities that are not physical that have defeated many opponents. Take Hidan for instance, his ability to make people stab themselves would be the perfect counter to the 3rd Raikage considering the 3rd's own strength can penetrate his defense. Also any genjutsu user could be extremely effective against the 3rd Raikage. Someone with the 3rd's speed that could run long enough to let his lightning barrier chakra run out would be a superm opponent. So someone with higher stamina could technically defeat the 3rd. Naruto for instance if he was able to last in a battle with the 3rd for a long duration could probably bring the 3rd Raikage to his barriers limit. Remember the 3rd was defeat by 10,000 fodder ninja. My conclusion is he reached his chakra limit making him no longer immune to physical damage and reducing his extreme speed. Also a high level wind jutsu tech has been shown to cancel out his lightning barrier. Clearly when Naruto hits with Wind Release Rasen Shuriken the raikage's armor turns off for more than a few seconds making him no longer immune to physical damage for the duration of the hit. Essentially high level lightning tech is canceled out by high level wind tech. Also someone who absorbs or drains chakra could be a match for the 3rd. Like a tech similar to Shino and his bugs removing the 3rds chakra would remove his ability for raiton armor. Shino may not be able to last long enough with the 3rds speed to be successful, but essentially a tech similar to that could be very successful. So I'm going to say that there are many ninja that could defeat the 3rd Raikage, albeit with a high degree of difficulty, but one manga panel where the highest defense tech is shown to cancel Rasengan and millions of fanboys jump onto 3rd raikage is the strongest Kage ever band wagon. I believe Naruto or Sasake in their current states could easily dispatch 3rd Raikage. Raikage would be done after genjuts or amaterasu. Naruto could just launch 2 wind shurikens in a row and its done. One to cancel the armor the 2nd to make a direct hit. Both have the speed and techs to counter his abilities. I believe other Kage have some very powerful abilities that could put up a fight against 3rd raikage. I'm not on this 3rd Raikage is the greatest train.

Its a tough call. But I will go with Kazekage. Its true that Raikage's lightning armour claims to be unpiercable, and iron sand may not pierce from outside, the ability of kazekage to manipulate iron in blood is very dangerous and I think its the key to win. But Raikage's speed gives him advantage which I doubt kazekage has... So if Raikage uses his speed efficiently, he can hellstab Kazekage but still he can defend with iron sand. So Kazekage has more chance of win. And imo Kishi trolled 3rd kazekage...xd

well, blood bending--besides being from Avatar not Naruto--is never even hinted at... also, read the bottom of my first post. i think it's number 98. because Raikage has lightning, Iron and it's magnetism cant touch him even if the blood bending thing is part of kazekage's arsenal

the 3rd kazekage couldent use iron sand and controll people bodies, he can only use iron sand which comes from regular sand.

there is several points I would like to ask about.
1) how do you know what jistu the kazekage would use. We saw some techniques but controlling somebody's blood is not apart of his jitsu list and has no basis in the manga.
2) Fire jitsu would majorly affect his release because heat demagnetizes/melts metal
3) Lighting Jitsu would also greatly impact the magnet release because it can affect the positive and negative relationship of the electrons
4) You are imaginative when it comes to this theoretical battle but most of the kazekage's jitsu's and stragity is just theory and creative storytelling.
5) when would Garra battle the kazekage, he wasn't even born yet.

Your just using A>B>C logic - that doesn't always work. Yes, Sasori did beat the 3rd Kazekage but that might be because Sasori is a bad match-up for him. That doesn't necessarily mean he Sasori is stronger.
