Background Info
History:
Izanagi Miyamoto came from a rather large family of samurai which had various subdivisions of clansmen. As a young boy his parents did not want to practice the way of the sword for the fear he would grow up to lose his life as did his two elder brothers. Instead, up until the age of 6 years old, he was on an early path to become a scholar but tragedy struck one late night as three samurai apart of an elite squad ambushed the clan manner and began to set it aflame. His father was severely burned while pushing him out of the way of a falling pillar and pleaded with his mother to leave him and save themselves. As they made their way outside, his mother grabbed two blades from a case and proceeded to exit with slight caution. In a rush, she was ambushed by the 3 elite samurai surrounding them in a triangle formation. She calmly bent down and looked into Muasashis eyes and said to him....
“there is nothing outside of yourself that can ever enable you to get better, stronger, richer, quicker, or smarter. Everything is within. Everything exists. Seek nothing outside of yourself. I will always love you. ^_^”
In the blink of an eye, she was wiping both of her blades off from the blood beneath her armpits, and two of the three Samurai stood there for a second and dropped to their knees, as their lives had been taken from them with one dual stroke of her blades. There was yet one last samurai to stop, and he was the leader of the squad. They traded blows for the least two minutes, but what seemed to be hours for Izanagi. In the end his mother could not keep up with the leader and lost her life to him. The leader than proceeded to approach Izanagi, covered in his mothers blood and ready to end his poor life. He grabbed Izanagi by the top of the head and then pulled back in a motion to behead him when all of a sudden an arrow flew threw the air, penetrating the man in the arm causing him to fall to his knees in anguish as a lone samurai had arrived to the manner on a black horse, and quickly jumped off unsheathing his blade giving the opponent no chance to recover he thrust his sword into the back of his neck and pushed off with his foot putting his blade into the scabbard.
There is no unpainful death given to those who murder women and children. Those who do not serve bushido as it should be do not deserve such respect. Do not be afraid young one, I am not your enemy I will explain when I get you two to safety.
Izanagi rode along with the samurai who had a young girl along with him as well, who had clothing that had a embroidery that resembled his own clansmen, but was different in ways. When they settled in, it was later known that they were saved by a samurai in a class of his own by the name of Mitsunari Zenryoku. Izanagi's parents were close friends with him as they served together during the warring times of the nation, so on a late night stroll through the forest he saw the smoke coming from the nearby villages, he left to help without hesitation. Unbeknownst to him, he would find a young girl and a young boy from neighboring clans that had been on the brink of death and or abandonment.
As Izanagi grew up, he took an interest to the words spoken to him by his mother and overall the ways of the samurai. He denounced his passion for it to his master and guardian, Zenryoku and he decided to take him under his wing, first teaching him the philosophies behind bushido, and how to keep his soul in tune with his mind and body. He could not teach those who did not exhibit those characteristics of having a heart that is at peace and without negative attributes. So while under the teachings of Zenryoku, he tried to sneak into the display room but he found it to be occupied by the young girl that looked very similar to the one that rode with him the night his village was set on fire. He approached her slowly from behind and without hesitation she swept her leg from underneath Izanagis feet causing him to fall down and she pointed the tip of her blade towards his throat and spoke very calmly as she walked away putting away her armor.
“In battle, if you you make your opponent flinch, you have already won.”
At this point in time, Izanagi became intrigued to who in the hell she truly was and how could a woman posses such skill with the sword and the body at such an age, which was unheard of at the time. He made it his priority to get to know her and find out what her secret was, but that would never happen as he never saw her again till a few short years past. One day during the summer, wondering the borders of the land, he spotted the same girl that took him down that time long ago, sitting Indian style near a waterfall with her sword laying horizontally across her legs with her eyes closed. She then got up facing the waterfall and drew her blade with her left hand slashing outwards causing a blinding light to shine blinding Izanagi with the reflection of the water and it appeared that she cut the waterfall with one stroke her sword. Izanagi then approached her trying his best to make conversation asking her what her name was and how was she able to pull off such a feat as stopping a waterfall with her blade. She then told him her name was Izanami Kaito of the Yakuza clan and like he, she was also taken in by Zenryoku and had been learning the way of the sword amongst other things. It was at this time, that they both put their stories together and found out that they were from neighboring clans and had both been victims of loosing their parents to war times. This similarity would bring them even closer than before as they became good friends under Bushido. During his studies, Izanagi came across a well known taijutsu expert that went by the name of Liliana. She was of the Uchiha clan and had been passing through the land getting away from troubling civil situations in Konoha. It was at this time that Izanagi was taken under her wing and was taught the basic principles of hand to hand combat, and how to read an opponents moves given her experience with the sharingan and perception of body language. She taught him how to react swiftly and calmly to close ranged attacks, and how to take down an enemy in the least amount of movements. During his training his stamina, strength, and endurance were pushed to the max in order to keep up with the given abilities of her sharingan as they sparred for days so that he could get better. After 2 years time, it was time for her to return to Konoha having also completed Izanagis training she left never to be seen again. It was at this time, he was instructed by Zenryoku to further complete his taijutsu training by sending him off to Iwagakure to be instructed by Toku in a more advanced form, which would allow him to join the military ranks of the army and standout on his own.
While his time was spent in Iwagakure, he came across a man meditating in a patch of grass, and as he got closer he realized he was in the presence of the current Tsuchikage, Kaze. He then got up and asked if Izanagi would like to spar with the sword and he agreed. At the start of the battle it was hard for Izanagi to adjust because he had never fought against anyone with such a craft as Kaze, because he fought with a two handed longsword rather then a standard katana. After an hour the fight had drastically changed, what seemed to be a simple spar turned into a fight for his life, he had suffered several lacerations to the chest and could barely analyze a weakness in Kaze's style. He then realized that he had power, but lacked agility. So on his next move, he put his blade back into the katana and ran towards Kaze....when Kaze reach backwards for a downwards vertical slash, Izanagi side stepped rotating his side and unsheathed his blade from behind putting it against his throat. This feat was heard all throughout Iwagakure and solidified his respect among the swordsman of Iwa. On his way back to the Land of Iron Izanagi came across two odd looking men dressed in tattered robes, he slowly approached them from behind as it looked as though they were on their way to the Land of Iron as well. As he past them up he looked and saw one of them had the Mangekyou Sharingan activated and the other had a samurai uniform on underneath his robes. They instantly surrounded Izanagi, but was short lived as they all were at a standoff: with Izanagi holding dual blades at both of their necks. They said they werent looking for trouble and were looking for a samurai named Izanami Kaito. On of them named Yard claimed that she was his sister, and the other The Pervy Sage was just looking for some fun. So they all ventured off back to the land having various amounts of fun and sparring along the way, enhancing their skills and also allowing Izanagi more opportunity to fight and enhance his skills against the sharingan as well as learning the form of Jeet Kune Do from Yard. When they made their way back to the land he found that Izanami had gained a military rank which made it hard to get close to her without trouble, as he had been away from the land for such a long time. So one night he went back the old waterfall and there Izanami was, meditating and looking to be at peace with herself. Then playfully rushed Izanami drawing his blade and she opened her eyes somersaulting out of the way. She smiled and then advanced to clash swords with Izanagi for several hours. They ran hopping from bamboo trees exchanging blows and reshaping the forest until they ran into a sakura tree where they were out of energy and gasping for air. Then a breeze past by causing all the saukra petals to fall around them, they looked into each others eyes and got closer as they were about to kiss and then Izanami put two of her fingers on Izanagis lips and told him that she missed him, but it wasnt time for such things to occur between them. That their hearts were in tow different places at the time, and she could feel it when their swords clashed. Her heart was yearning for battle and the sword and Izanagis was for the physical.
You must still come to honor and become one with your sword and your ways, as I do. Long ago you wanted to know how I was able to cut the waterfall, dont you? That waterfall represented the flow of energy that thrives all around us. I was able to stop that flow because I am at peace with myself and so my strikes also represent peace. We are here, but I our souls long for the opposite. You still have a long way to go Izanagi..

Izanagi wasnt heart broken, but he knew that his path to wisdom and being at peace was far out of reach. He went to the same waterfall and tried channeling his chakra into his sword cutting it and to of no use, he failed. He then attempted to try cutting the waterfall until the sun was seen rising from the horizon. He left feeling defeated and went to go see his father Zenryoku for guidance and he told him that it was something he would have to find out on his own, only Izanagi can find his own path to unifying his mind, body and soul. Izanagi then joined the military seeking to climb the ranks in pursuit of becoming like Izanami. He would become well known and almost as famous as Izanami, but he felt as though he hadn't made a dent in his path to enlightenment. So after gaining several high ranks in the military, being right under Izanami. He left the military and decided to live in solitude for the next 7 years building his own house near the coast of an ocean where he would meditate and finally give his sword a name. He named his sword Ekosouru. It translated to "The Echoing Soul" he wanted his soul to speak from his blade, so for years he would walk towards the ocean channeling chakra to his feet to stay afloat he would attempt to slash the ocean in order to see if he could strike the ocean floor. After years of meditation and solitude he stepped unto the ocean floor and drew his blade sending out a powerful wave of energy that was send to have struck the ocean floor itself causing the Land of Iron to shake for a minute. His quest to sync his mind, body and soul was complete and he was ready to return home. It was said that he had become to pure of heart that his hair had turned snow white. He appeared to be a different person. The stories of his feat would be heard all throughout the Land of Iron and he was named The White Fox.
He then rejoined the military ranks in hopes of meeting Izanami once again, who had gained the rank of Shogun in his absence. At this time the country had become unified under her rule and it was at last peaceful. In the middle of the night Izanagi took a stroll out to the old waterfall and unsheathed his blade in attempts to slash the waterfall for old times sake, and Izanami appeared taking Izanagi off guard as they clashed swords once again exchanging blows of their steel that was rumored to be heard clinging for miles. In the end, noone truly knows what happened between the two that night, but the tales of Half step Izanami and Izanagi would be told for generations..

So while under the teachings of Zenryoku, he tried to sneak into the display room but he found it to be occupied by the young girl that looked very similar to the one that rode with him the night his village was set on fire. He approached her slowly from behind and without hesitation she swept her leg from underneath Izanagis feet causing him to fall down and she pointed the tip of her blade towards his throat and spoke very calmly as she walked away putting away her armor.
“In battle, if you you make your opponent flinch, you have already won.”
At this point in time, Izanagi became intrigued to who in the hell she truly was and how could a woman posses such skill with the sword and the body at such an age, which was unheard of at the time. He made it his priority to get to know her and find out what her secret was, but that would never happen as he never saw her again till a few short years past. One day during the summer, wondering the borders of the land, he spotted the same girl that took him down that time long ago, sitting Indian style near a waterfall with her sword laying horizontally across her legs with her eyes closed. She then got up facing the waterfall and drew her blade with her left hand slashing outwards causing a blinding light to shine blinding Izanagi with the reflection of the water and it appeared that she cut the waterfall with one stroke her sword. Izanagi then approached her trying his best to make conversation asking her what her name was and how was she able to pull off such a feat as stopping a waterfall with her blade. She then told him her name was Izanami Kaito of the Yakuza clan and like he, she was also taken in by Zenryoku and had been learning the way of the sword amongst other things. It was at this time, that they both put their stories together and found out that they were from neighboring clans and had both been victims of loosing their parents to war times. This similarity would bring them even closer than before as they became good friends under Bushido. During his studies, Izanagi came across a well known taijutsu expert that went by the name of Liliana. She was of the Uchiha clan and had been passing through the land getting away from troubling civil situations in Konoha. It was at this time that Izanagi was taken under her wing and was taught the basic principles of hand to hand combat, and how to read an opponents moves given her experience with the sharingan and perception of body language. She taught him how to react swiftly and calmly to close ranged attacks, and how to take down an enemy in the least amount of movements. During his training his stamina, strength, and endurance were pushed to the max in order to keep up with the given abilities of her sharingan as they sparred for days so that he could get better. After 2 years time, it was time for her to return to Konoha having also completed Izanagis training she left never to be seen again. It was at this time, he was instructed by Zenryoku to further complete his taijutsu training by sending him off to Iwagakure to be instructed by Toku in a more advanced form, which would allow him to join the military ranks of the army and standout on his own.
While his time was spent in Iwagakure, he came across a man meditating in a patch of grass, and as he got closer he realized he was in the presence of the current Tsuchikage, Kaze. He then got up and asked if Izanagi would like to spar with the sword and he agreed. At the start of the battle it was hard for Izanagi to adjust because he had never fought against anyone with such a craft as Kaze, because he fought with a two handed longsword rather then a standard katana. After an hour the fight had drastically changed, what seemed to be a simple spar turned into a fight for his life, he had suffered several lacerations to the chest and could barely analyze a weakness in Kaze's style. He then realized that he had power, but lacked agility. So on his next move, he put his blade back into the katana and ran towards Kaze....when Kaze reach backwards for a downwards vertical slash, Izanagi side stepped rotating his side and unsheathed his blade from behind putting it against his throat. This feat was heard all throughout Iwagakure and solidified his respect among the swordsman of Iwa. On his way back to the Land of Iron Izanagi came across two odd looking men dressed in tattered robes, he slowly approached them from behind as it looked as though they were on their way to the Land of Iron as well. As he past them up he looked and saw one of them had the Mangekyou Sharingan activated and the other had a samurai uniform on underneath his robes. They instantly surrounded Izanagi, but was short lived as they all were at a standoff: with Izanagi holding dual blades at both of their necks. They said they werent looking for trouble and were looking for a samurai named Izanami Kaito. On of them named Yard claimed that she was his sister, and the other The Pervy Sage was just looking for some fun. So they all ventured off back to the land having various amounts of fun and sparring along the way, enhancing their skills and also allowing Izanagi more opportunity to fight and enhance his skills against the sharingan as well as learning the form of Jeet Kune Do from Yard. When they made their way back to the land he found that Izanami had gained a military rank which made it hard to get close to her without trouble, as he had been away from the land for such a long time. So one night he went back the old waterfall and there Izanami was, meditating and looking to be at peace with herself. Then playfully rushed Izanami drawing his blade and she opened her eyes somersaulting out of the way. She smiled and then advanced to clash swords with Izanagi for several hours. They ran hopping from bamboo trees exchanging blows and reshaping the forest until they ran into a sakura tree where they were out of energy and gasping for air. Then a breeze past by causing all the saukra petals to fall around them, they looked into each others eyes and got closer as they were about to kiss and then Izanami put two of her fingers on Izanagis lips and told him that she missed him, but it wasnt time for such things to occur between them. That their hearts were in tow different places at the time, and she could feel it when their swords clashed. Her heart was yearning for battle and the sword and Izanagis was for the physical.You must still come to honor and become one with your sword and your ways, as I do. Long ago you wanted to know how I was able to cut the waterfall, dont you? That waterfall represented the flow of energy that thrives all around us. I was able to stop that flow because I am at peace with myself and so my strikes also represent peace. We are here, but I our souls long for the opposite. You still have a long way to go Izanagi..
Izanami poked his head and before he knew it, she disappeared from his sight, using a new technique she created called the half-step. Izanagi wasnt heart broken, but he knew that his path to wisdom and being at peace was far out of reach. He went to the same waterfall and tried channeling his chakra into his sword cutting it and to of no use, he failed. He then attempted to try cutting the waterfall until the sun was seen rising from the horizon. He left feeling defeated and went to go see his father Zenryoku for guidance and he told him that it was something he would have to find out on his own, only Izanagi can find his own path to unifying his mind, body and soul. Izanagi then joined the military seeking to climb the ranks in pursuit of becoming like Izanami. He would become well known and almost as famous as Izanami, but he felt as though he hadn't made a dent in his path to enlightenment. So after gaining several high ranks in the military, being right under Izanami. He left the military and decided to live in solitude for the next 7 years building his own house near the coast of an ocean where he would meditate and finally give his sword a name. He named his sword Ekosouru. It translated to "The Echoing Soul" he wanted his soul to speak from his blade, so for years he would walk towards the ocean channeling chakra to his feet to stay afloat he would attempt to slash the ocean in order to see if he could strike the ocean floor. After years of meditation and solitude he stepped unto the ocean floor and drew his blade sending out a powerful wave of energy that was send to have struck the ocean floor itself causing the Land of Iron to shake for a minute. His quest to sync his mind, body and soul was complete and he was ready to return home. It was said that he had become to pure of heart that his hair had turned snow white. He appeared to be a different person. The stories of his feat would be heard all throughout the Land of Iron and he was named The White Fox.

Strength & Taijutsu: Izanagi is a taijutsu Specialist, in that he has mastered the basics of taijutsu and is very crafty as he has gained a strong and enduring body with very high chakra reserves and immense stamina by constantly pushing his own limits, allowing him to recover from extreme exhaustion in an alarmingly short period of time and utilise the style known as "Strong Fist" to its full potential. He is very physically strong being able to punch his foes through solid rock.

He carries several standard Samurai weapons such as a Naginata spear and standard samurai swords attached to his armour, attached to his back is a Gamba and Yumi. Attached to his side is a Kusarigama, and the other is Ekosouru (submitting the CW).
