It is time to compare Shino to Sasuke. Well Shino can use bugs from his body to eat another person's chakra and skin thereby ending them. He can use bug clones which are superior to regular clones as they can reform when hit. That is basically his full arsenal and it doesn't compare to Sasuke's.

While that is all he uses, he uses them in many different ways. He can change the terrain, defend himself using regular sand shield or/and sand armour and he can crush anyone without special skin using sand coffin where he crushes the opponent, destroying them completely. He does have a good arsenal of ninjutsu and is also very good at stealth (said by Sasuke when he met Gaara for the first time). Not only this but he can also use sand clones, gold dust, sense the presence of others and also seal people. However, Gaara hasn't shown any prowess in genjutsu or taijutsu so Sasuke is a lot more versatile than him.

Sasuke has shown prowess in all forms of shinobi combat unlike Kankuro therefore he is more versatile than him.

Although Kankuro has shown many different techniques with puppets, he is not suited to close range combat or if the enemy has techniques that can cut his chakra strings. If that happens Kankuro is kind of screwed although he can create more chakra strings and use puppets to safeguard his back. Sasuke has shown prowess in all forms of shinobi combat unlike Kankuro therefore he is more versatile than him.

Now even though Sasuke is not as versatile as some other top tier shinobis such as Itachi, Kakashi, Madara, Nagato and Hiruzen. He is catching up to them, and since he is young, it is to be expected that he has less jutsus compared to them. Once Sasuke reaches his prime, I believe he will be more versatile than the ones I just listed. He still has the potential to unlock the Rennigan which opens up the possibilities of many more jutsus.
