Yes but even that was only against half of the original power of the 9 tails. So he had trouble with half of the original power on one tailed beast, on what level would he ever be able to touch the full 10 tails?

If somebody knows his full excent then Kabuto who spent his whole life with Orochimaru and his thousands of experiments and researches in order to learn all Jutsus.

I agree that no on stands actually a chance against Madara in 1on1 but even he cannot face the Rikudo Sennin. He is the origin of all this things, like Rinnegan, Uchiha and Senju, he fully mastered them all and is the creator of all things.

He has mastered the Rinnegan and maybe the Sharingan/Mangekyou because of the hypothesis that Sharingan originated from Juubi, which the Sage contains.
