Actually we are too afraid to decide, or let's say future is too unpredictable that we cannot say confidently in front of everybody that ‘one day I will become (assume whatever u like)’.Actually I always dreamt of retiring at 45, then writing a novel, playing tennis (would be too old for soccer lol!) and living a cool stress-free life. Oh and earning a lot of money through novels too. But you cannot just reach the peak without putting efforts, u always need tools and equipments but more than that, you need the confidence. Confidence that you will never look down lol! Anyway, enough of dreams and coming straight to the point, I want to convey that:
Looking at the sky, one cannot stop wondering
It’s the beauty of the World in which we are living
So many things to distract our mind
Forcing us to leave the dreams behind
But we all are endowed with some unique skill
So stop being afraid and enjoy the thrill
Because we never know what life has to propose!
It can turn into a Cactus or a beautiful red rose

THE STORY UNTOLD - Chapter ~ 3
Time passes on, from dusk to dawn
Preparations are done, plans have been drawn
New seeds begin to sprout
To carry on the legacy, no doubt
But to shoulder the responsibilities
One needs unique abilities
But still we should have hope and trust in them
To convert the pebble in to a shining gem.
KONOHA [ EIGHT YEARS LATER ]
Three people were walking towards the Konoha School. A man with black hair and broad-frame glasses having a frown look on his face; a woman of same age, black hairs adjusted in a twin-bun and a man in his early twenties with a nervous look on his face.
Koharu Utatane: Well let’s see what they are capable of (with a smirk on his face)
Tadashi Gekko: I m sure they will do their best Koharu-sama. (he said with a nervous laugh)
Homura Mitokado: Is he one of them too?
Koharu: Yes, he is.
As they entered the Konoha School, they hear a commotion inside the classroom. Strength of nearly 45 students can be seen in the playground. As they entered, the noise and random actions ceased, everybody stayed still.
Tadashi: Today, we are conducting the final exams and all those who pass will get the Konoha forehead protector. I'm sure you all are aware of that. But before that, let me introduce to the Inspectors who will analyze your skills and give the results. Everyone, this is Koharu-sama and Homura-sama.
As the day went on, the introduction and exams were taken. Only 12 young ninjas were selected to be given the Konoha head protector and as cutomary protocol, they were also assigned to a team of four under a particular jounin who will also be their Sensei.
Evening [THIRD TRAINING GROUND]
Three young ninja and a tall man with black hair and red eyes were standing face to face. The tall man, now their sensei, returned from a mission in the evening and he summoned all three of his students to the third training ground, a location where shinobis hone their skills.
Sensei: Greetings, everyone. I was instructed that I will have to lead a team of three genin who graduated from the academy this year. I must point out that it’s one of the few tasks I would never want to do. However, being th lord Hokage’s request, I accepted you all as my students. I want you all to introduce yourself and tell me your graduation ranks, starting from the left.
Genin 1: I m Takeshi Oshiro! I secured 12th rank in the academy graduation exam!! (Even though he had only secured the last position among the genin, he replied with oozing enthusiasm)
Genin 2: I m Katsumi Hamasaki. I secured 1st rank in the class (The girl said confidently)
Sensei: Amazing! So we have a first ranked and a last ranked genin. (He looks at the third)
Genin 3: My name is Dan Sarutobi. I secured 6th position in the exam. (The boy said in a calm voice, looking at the beautiful sunset)
Sensei: Well I m not surprised! Let’s start off with the training.
Katsumi: won’t you tell us about yourself sensei?
Sensei: My name is Kagami Uchiha. That’s all u need to know. (a serious look on his face)
Katsumi: What was your academy graduation rank sensei? Was u the topper of your batch?
Kagami: No, I was actually one of the few who never understood the logic behind the graduation tests. (All three of them listened to him with a confused expression). Alright let me make this clear for you. Academy graduation tests evaluate the following abilities of an academy student:
· The ability to perform ninjutsu.
· The knowledge of chakra, ninja tools and basic techniques.
· The shinobi rules like what to do or not to do in an adverse situation.
However, they are many things that AGE doesn’t evaluate like the team work, courage, cleverness and most of all the ability to never give up.
*AGE – Academy Graduation Exam
Takeshi: Then why did you ask our AGE ranks? (irritated)
Sensei: Because I wanted to know about your ability to pay attention and the ability to follow instructions. Now I want to fight you all so that I can grasp your level. So come and fight with all your might!! (takes a cool stance)
Scene changes: Hokage Office!
Hokage: I have already talked to him about it. That’s why I want you all to go to him. Search each and every possible location; I want full information about it. (there was solemnity in the face of the Hokage)
Jiraiya: Alrighty!!... Was waiting for some action. What took you so long to consider us for this, Sensei? We are more than ready.
Tsunade: Shut the crap you fool (she said while she looked at Jiriaya with contempt) let us hear the details. (she had already clenched her fists)
Orochimaru: You never learn do you? (Jiraiya truly annoyed and irritated Orochimaru)
Hokage: It’s alright so here is what Hiroshi asked for, It’s a…… (The conversation continues….)
Scene Changes - Place Unknown
Setsuna Uchiha: We have the collected the vessel to harness its power; we just need the power source.
Takumi Uchiha: But we have no information about him.
Setsuna Uchiha: That Bastard Hyuuga. He hid him somewhere. We need to find that hyuuga first (with contempt in his voice)
Uruchi Uchiha: But what about our Hokage and Kagami. Kagami has got suspicious about our actions Setsuna San! (Yoshiro said with concern)
Setsuna Uchiha: We just need to be careful from now on. In any case, I need the information about the Rinnegan that Sage has left us. I need to know something. ( said while rubbing his index finger on his chin deviously)
Yoshiro Uchiha: But we can’t bring the tablet here can we?
Takumi Uchiha: No! Idiot! …we will just jot down the information we get by decrypting the message using Mangekyou Sharingan.
(and then he sighed with frustration)
Scene Changes: - THIRD TRAINING GROUND – Night nearly 10 pm
Kagami Uchiha: That’s all for today. We will begin with our missions tomorrow, so I want all of you to meet me at Hokage’s office in the morning at 6:00 am.
Takeshi Oshiro: Why so early sensei?
Kagami Uchiha: Stop acting like a child, will u? I want everyone there sharp at 6 am (Kagami was low in patience by nature. There was seriousness in his voice when he spoke, it was hard to imagine that he could smile)
All Three: Hai!
Saying this everybody headed towards their home except Kagami. He stayed there for a while to make sure everybody had left.
Kagami Uchiha: Got anything new?
Hiruzen Sarutobi: Yeah
Kagami Uchiha: What?
Hiruzen Sarutobi: Almost every sinful action ever committed can be traced back to a selfish motive. It is a trait we hate in other people but justify in ourselves. (he said this while smoking a tobacco)
Kagami Uchiha: True. Everyone seems to have a clear idea of how other people should lead their lives, but none about his or her own.
Hiruzen Sarutobi: I have sent my team to meet him. I think he has figured out something.
Kagami Uchiha: *sigh* It’s been years since I have seen him.
Hiruzen Sarutobi: Umm Kagami… How’s Dan doing? (He asked with curiusity)
Kagami Uchiha: Oh please, It was his first day! You worry about him too much. He will be okay, but I think we should tell him the secret.
Hiruzen Sarutobi: He is just a kid Kagami. And I think …
Kagami Uchiha: He is worthy of it. After all he is Ryuu’s son. (he said with such pride in his voice)
Scene Changes - Konoha Streets
Dan: alright Takeshi! , Katsumi! Goodnight…will meet you both tomorrow at 6.
Katsumi: sure!
Takeshi: yeah…yeah whatever
They all parted to their respective homes excited for the following day.
