[Discussion] Tobi's S/T tech is completely useless against Minato?

In a thread I saw it recently said that Tobi could have beaten Minato the first time round if he hadn't talked to him before trying to teleport him.

What I'm questioning is if Minato can actually teleport back from Tobi's dimension if he (without the help of plot hax) got absorbed.

Because as people have said in the past, FTG is similar if not identical to a reverse summoning jutsu. Obviously It isn't physical movement but S/T, so I think it's only logical that he can transport from dimension to dimension just like Tobi.

• So in saying that, if he got absorbed by tobi could he possibly teleport back from Tobi's dimension via FTG?
• Or is FTG somehow negated due to being in Tobi's dimension?

i can dig that. when he absorbed danzo's henchmen they were still alive when he finally decided to pull them back out. so im with you in thinking the yellow flash being the yellow flash could probably just come back on his own. great av btw! love me some kenpachi lol

tobis s/t tech is his intangibility , his separate dimension warping thing is a sharingan technique
but yes if minato had a seal out there which he should, he probably would be able to escape from tobi's dimension

Yup he has the FTG seal in plenty of places, plenty of places to go.

i dont think that warping is fast enough to warp away minato before he can react.

anyway i think that minato should be able to come back to wherever his seals are, unless tobi's dimension is super hax and prevents every attempt to get out of there >_>

Thats a good question, most likely he can unless tobi can some how insta kill him upon warping. I think when he warps people has has an option to either kill them or store them.

If and only If;

He isn't immediately put under a Genjutsu by Tobi.

He can still sense his Seal Makings, once in Tobi's pocket dimension.

He isn't unconscious upon being warped by Tobi.

Well that is questionable, but since Karin could use her ninjutsu to heal Sasuke then I believe Minato should also be able to use his Techs/Ninjutsu.

It assumes that Tobi's world is a real physical space within that dimension. We don't know for sure one way or another.

Have you ever seen Minato throw his Kunai to another dimension ? If he is (inside) Tobi dimension, wouldnt he go where his kunai landed in that dimension? If Minato threw a kunai in the leaf , does that mean he can appear in the sand ? And thats in the same dimension . So i dont think so but you might be right .We have seen tobi warp from village to village . We have never seen minato do that !

I'm not really sure if he can teleport and cast a genjutsu simultaneously. Which I doubt, because no proof has shown this is possible. Apart from showing Fuu/Torune in a paralyzed state where I presume Tobi casted a genjutsu on them afterwards. Who knows?? but nevertheless I doubt this.
