Hiruzen vs. Onoki

I hate Hiruzen fanboys... but I have to say Hiruzen deffinetly wins this one

Tells me Hiruzen < Onoki after Kabuto already said Hiruzen was the strongest kage of his generation, which includes Onoki and the 3rd Raikage.

strongest =/= able to defeat someone "weaker" than them. onoki is specialised and can turn the tide in an instant with his earth release

Oonoki has just more feats than Hiruzen, though Hiruzen should be a very strong Shinobi in his prime.

IMO it's obvious that Hiruzen was meant to be more powerful than he was portrayed. Just limited panel time and power changes hit him at a rough time. I'd rather focus on what was implied with Hiruzen, meaning high quantities of elemental, specialized (his sense of smell, summoning, etc.), and other ninja arts (like multiplying shuriken at such a number). He probably adds a lot of skill to his fighting style to, like tagging the Edo Tensei enemies with explosive tags. His old age would reduce his stamina considerably though.

I'd go with Hiruzen high difficulty. Feats wise and hype wise he takes this. The only advantage Oonoki has is dust release but fights aren't always one hit KO. There are things called clones, substitution, genjutsu and dodging skills that come into play.

onoki has rock clones, golem summons, flight for dodging and i havent seen hiruzen use any genjutsus. if you assume he does cos hes experienced then so would onoki

Beat 2 Hokage and handi capped Orochimaru (one of the 3 Sannin) all while 69 years old.
vs.
Lost miserably to Madara who didn't take them seriously. Carried a giant turtle.(thats one i guess). Couldn't beat his old master, Nearly killed Sasuke (more than 5 people have this feat) and willed not falling asleep.

1. Hiruzen was retired and no longer training when Kurama attacked

2. He still managed to drive Kurama out of the village

But regardless, Onoki would whip old Hiruzen.

o.o have people really gone mad? Oonoki didnt do anything against madara? Muu embarassed him...? Kabutos edo....is 100times better than orochimaru's and muu's techs are hard to fight + oonoki tanked 2meteors and done the most work out of the rest against madara ...oonoki>hiruzen o.o the old versions ...dunno younger versions though

who in the hell could? besides 2nd mizukage. also muu was an invincible immortal and onoki cant see where he is without gaaras aid.
