Legit Reason for hating on Sakura?

Well...I'm just gonna take a wild guess here. She is practically one of the four main characters, a member of Team 7. Naturally, one expects more from the show's heroine than other supporting characters.

But she does nothing.

In the first season, she bites a guy. That's it. Other than that, all she talks about is Sasuke and then she cries for whatever reason.

Then she made such huge progress in the beginning of Shippuden, but that did not last very long. Which is a shame, because she was awesome in her fight against Sasori. But then she faded into the background once again.

As for Sasuke, I don't think people are mad at her for loving him. It's how it's portrayed. She had a one-sided crush on a guy who was such a jerk to her, and now she is madly in love with him, even after three years of him being a total nutjob. When she could do something, like helping Kakashi when he briefly fought Sasuke, she cried once again and froze.

I don't hate Sakura, but that is no way to treat the show's heroine. It's not like any other female characters are any better, but there you have it.

she has no screentime....no legitimate jutsu other than medics and "strength".....give her a nature element like earth style...some random stuff here and there at least.... i would say she has something to work with...but alas she doesnt..like ten ten...and shino...and other characters...but at least they have more stuff to work with...at least ino is worse than her lol

That was probably one of the few scenes that redeem Sakura's character. She demonstrated power and intelligence to expose the Zetsu spies within the Alliance camps.

Shame we don't see more of that Sakura instead of the crying and unstable version we see most often.

I have to agree.

Being someone who doesn't like Sakura, it's mostly because of her attitude. Strong or not, emotionally unstable or otherwise, she's a bitch to Naruto almost 95% of the time, and he's her biggest supporter.

Mmm... well first of all, Sakura is, let's face it, plain. I was starting to like her in the start of shippuden, but then she sucked once more after the fight with Sasori. And that fight only increased her haters, because Sasori has A LOT of fangirls, including me.

In my opinion, should Tsunade ever have taught Ino or Hinata, they wouldn't fail to disappoint anyone's idea of a heroine. Ino and Hinata would have surpassed Tsunade herself if she taught them. But unfortunately no, Kishi had Tsunade teach Sakura instead.
That sucks, since Ino and Hinata and even TenTen has more heroine potential than Sakura.

What about the elders? Hiruzen and sakura's situations are completely different. Hiruzen may have made a bad decision with oro but he knew that he was to weak to do what was necessary. In the end he still built up the courage to do his job by preventing oro from being able to harm the village. He made the ultimate sacrifice of giving his life for the village and still did what he failed to do in the first place. Sakura however has cried countless times over and over again in random situations this is not what shinobi should do. Im simply saying that sakura's behavior throughout the series is not acceptable as a shinobi.

There situations are very similar. Think about it Hiruzen loved Oro and believed he could change. Its the reason he couldn't bring himself to kill him. Sakura believed at the time there was still hope for Sasake. Hiruzen only killed Oro because Oro forced him into making the decision. Sasake has yet to force Sakura into such a decision. Hiruzen didn't keep tabs on Oro and make sure he wasn't being a bad boy or anything. Put in the corner like Hiruzen was, I believe Sakura has just as much courage and conviction to do what needs to be done. Sakura's behavior as a shinobi is more acceptable than her masters and no1 out there is chanting we hate Tsunade. Tsunade turned down Jaraiya several dozen times, and he could have made her happy. She ran from the village because of 2 deaths and spent the last decade wasting her abilities as a ninja and turning her back on her village. It took Naruto's inspiration to bring back why she became a ninja. Tsunade in other words in much less acceptable of a ninja than Sakura and your whole argument is now that Sakura doesn't act like a true ninja. Neither does Naruto, and according to Kishi the progression of the whole manga is that the Ninja world needs to be changed anyways. So, maybe the kind of ninja your referring too isn't the correct one anyways. Do you think Naruto's new ninja world would have massacred the entire Uchiha clan? Your ideal of what an acceptable Ninja, is not everyone's idea of how a ninja should behave. Instead of supporting the truce with the Senju and bringing peace among the clans Madara left the village and engaged in battle with the first Hokage. No one is claiming that the way he childishly wouldn't give up a feud makes him less of a ninja. It just makes him a different kind of ninja. Sasake took a hatred for his brother so far he left the village to train under his villages most hated enemy. Do people say that his actions are unacceptable for a ninja. No no1 says these things. Because Sakura has emotions and feelings, by the way she's a 14 yr old girl, she doesn't carry herself in a ninja way. Naruto points out more than once that the ninja world lacks carring and compassion, something that Sakura has tons of, yet Naruto when he gets all talk no jutsu on people they are like man that's really deep. Since Sakura can't bring herself to kill Sasake even though he had not harmed anyone in their village makes her unfit. Yet Naruto had the chance to own Sasake in the Valley of the End, yet he chose to go for his forhead protector so his friend could choose his own path. Sakura has as much conviction to protect the village of the leaf as anyone. To say her emotions make her less of a Ninja is laughable. Some of the most famous ninja in the whole series are emotional. Nagato is angry and seeks to change the ninja world. Sasake is angry seeks the truth and revenge. Madara, Hiruzen, Jaraiya,Hoshi,Tsunade, Minato, all of these characters were swayed into decisions by love. When it comes to the end of this manga Sakura will show some heart and protect what needs to be protected at all costs. Like I said she's not my favorite character, but anyone who dislikes her doesn't understand who she is. Is she annoying, yes but go sit in a room full of 14 year old girls and see how long it takes you before you want to slap them. It doesn't make them bad or even unlikable, it just makes them teenage girls.

Somehow, I don't think you people are reading and watching the same thing I am. First of all think about the ages of team 7 and the supporting cast. In the first part where she was super annoying an whinny she was a preteen girl. She wasn't confident she struggle with discovering who she was and most of all she clearly doesn't understand her feelings for Naruto or Sasake. I was around a lot of preteen girls who struggled with their image and confidence. Even with girls that tried to understand feelings they felt for some of their closest guy friends at the time. For all of you girls on here you can't tell me that you didn't have at least one friend around the 11 yr range that probably needed some therapy for confidence issues. So for that I'm going to point out Sakura's strengths in part one. Number one she had more chakara control than probably anyone her age because she had the mental focus and determination that most of her classmates lacked. She was probably second in intelligence and strategy in her class only outshined by the likes of Shikamaru whose main strength is his intelligence. She clearly helps Naruto and sasake read enemies in some of their earlier missions. Her main strength in the first part is that she holds their team together. She helps give Naruto and Sasake focus and direction. Remember in their first mission with Kakashi where he forbids them to give Naruto any food and Sakura breaks the rules and talks Sasake into giving him the food anyways. She is able to control her chakara better than them and they practice their control to catch up to her early in the series. Sakura is the voice of moderation between Naruto and Sasake. Sasake is a hardworking no nonsense genius, Naruto is a flakey misunderstood rogue, and Sakura is an intelligent focused kind-hearted person. It took Sakura being in their group for Sasake and Naruto to develope as both characters and ninja. That is where she shines in the first series. Sure she whines and screams Sasake kun all the time, but for the love of god its the same crap as an 11 yr old being in love with Justin Bieber. Sure it's annoying but lots of girls do it, so technically its an accurate portrayal of a preteen girl by kishi.

As for the series two you people are just trolling us. She shows medical ninjutsu and skill that rival Tsunade's. Her chakra control is better than almost any in the ninja world. She is able to find a cure for a poison and remove it in mere hours. She is able to dodge for most of a half hour long fight with Sasori, a ninja on a Kage level. She was able to strategize an end game in that fight. She talks herself into going to kill someone she is in love with for the good of her village. Shows leadership ability and greater intelligence for discovering a zetsu clone. Sure she froze under pressure when she met with Sasake, but she was in love with him. This isn't creative or weak of her. This story has been done for hundreds of years in thousands of stories, why? Well its part of human nature. Ask yourself could you kill someone you loved without hesitation if you knew it would save the lives of others. Is Sakura weak, lol you guys have to be kidding. She isn't Hinata who can only demonstrate how she feels through action, Sakura is emotion driven and that most certainly isn't a weakness. Emotional conviction can be stronger than most realize, ask any mother on the planet. Do I like Sakura, she's not my favorite female character in the series, but yeah I like her. To be honest, she's probably the most realistic character in the whole Narutoverse. Most people just want to see a strong bad ass ninja girl, but what's wrong with an emotional one that can set her feelings and emotions aside every once in awhile and get the job done.

1. Sakura isn't the one who wanted to break the rules for Naruto's sake.
Sasuke broke the rules and convinced a doubting Sakura to give Naruto food, for the sake of the team.
2. Granny Chiyo was the one controlling her, if not, she would have been dead, and everyone would rejoice because now, Hinata or Ino would step up in her place and outshine her!
(Enough about all the bullshit about Ino being shit. Ino isn't shit. She is a shinobi who will take over Inoichi's job in intelligence department. Ino is much more important in the Naruto world because she is needed in the Ino-Shika-Cho! Sakura is expendable because there is always another ninja who Tsunade could teach)
3. Second in intelligence and strategy? LMFAO. It's Sasuke. Then Shino. Then Ino was better in strategy than her in part one. remember the hair trap?
Sakura against the sound ninjas. Her plan: Shadow clone shadow clone then BOOM! let the kunais hit her and bite the enemy down! A totally USELESS strategy. Ino took control over the fight against the sound ninjas, along with Shikamaru and CHouji. Remember Shika asking Ino what she wanted to do? They almost WON.
4. Rivaling Tsunade? TSUNADE? LMFAO again. Sakura still has a LONG LONG way to go if she wants to surpass Tsunade!

That also depends on if Tsunade or Sakura are even able to heal during the fight. Healing isn't instant it takes time and charkra, so obviously it isn't a huge advantage in the middle of a fight.

lol you just listed classes that I usually beat as disc priest. In Narutoverse healing jutsus are so weak compared to damaging jutsus.
