aang was too gifted lol. he learned 3 elements in a year and as pretty damn good at it too. not to mention was the first person as far as we know who learned energybending and he did this all in one year and aang obviously improved over the years. SO obviously korra wont reach that height yet.
as for the finale it was good with the limited 12 eps that was there. but i wish the season was as long as avatar the last airbender. we could have seen more depth for characters and more buildup for the final fight and more background info

when they showed tenzen and his family about to get their bending taken away... I was seriously about to cry, then when Mako and Korra were getting ****ed up by bloodbending I was even more mind****ed... I thought she was gonna go into the avatar state, btu she didn't? and Got her bending taken away.... then korra became depressed and aang comes back like a boss/gives her bending back... I can't really wait to see what happens in the next season, because I can't really see this going anywhere lol

yeah but aang was younger when he did something over 9000 times bigger on the epic scale....

It was rushed and a lot of bull. But it certainly beats ATLA's S1 finale.
1) Makorra carrying out to the season finale baffled me. It wasn't even resovled, it was just Mako kissing Korra and saying "Mmmm, f-ck you Asami." but then again I hate shipping.
2) Aang being able to give back bending through the spirit world. If that isn't the biggest ass pull since Madara's perfected Perfect Susanoo, I don't know what is.
3) Ending was disappointing. Rest of it is cool, it's just the last 10 minutes that sucked. We find out Tarrlok pretty much changes after having a Talk-No-Jutsu with Korra then Bryke makes him suicide. Lin's scarifice? Worthless. Gets her bending back 3 days later. Korra getting her bending taken away then restored from Aang? Bullsh-t.

I don't ever expect her to be on the level of Roku or Aang. At least not when it comes to bending. Those 2 are at an extremely high level when it comes to bending especially Roku.
Kyoshi's just a beast because she doesn't give a ****. Korra will never be that badass.
i kno aang is an exception he had such a huge responsibility. he had to step it up or the world is ****ed. but korra was not in the same situation for most of her life thats the difference and she has made considerable improvements.
BUt i gotta say aang was truly gifted at the same time determined thats what made him to go to great extents.

I was so sad when Tarrlok committed suicide... You can tell Amon(or should I say Noatokk) knew he was going to do it too.
