It doesn't, but it's another arsenal to use in battle. Fuuinjutsu is highly underestimated. Besides, FTG is a Fuuinjutsu, therefore making it relevant.

It's no secret why Tobi didn't use on Minato. That is not Tobi's fighting style. Tobi has not once tried to use genjutsu in a middle of a fight. Tobi also was controlling the Nine Tails at the time so that could have some merit to.

Also how can you say kakashi doesn't know what Itachi is capable of?
Meaning even you don't know what the full scale of Yondaime's arsenal of techs are.
Yet you still question how he gets beaten easily.
Remember his a genius aswell, no one figured out Tobi's dematerilization.
Yondaime figured it out in a couple of seconds.
Like I said, I say the fight goes to either side.
Hype and etc. shouldn't even be involved in this.

itachi have a lot of techs and most of them are so fast that people can't dodge. but we found out that amastera was dodgable with the 3rd Raikage. maybe becuase we have not seen a ninja good at speed go agaisnt a uchiha yet beside raikage. . most of the susanoo moves can be dodged also like the bow and arrow , Minato should have more justus than the ones we have seen also. even his advance sealing techs will be helpful againt a sharigan user. with chakra their sharigan is useless.\

once minato tagged someone it's easy to attack. so imagine a barrage of rasengans one after another. I also think that he has fought sharigan users and knows their battle strategy which was probably why he bested tobi, besides him being stronger.

yes, i do understand that itachi has izanami but it wouldn't affect minato because he already found his meaning for life, which was why the 3rd choose him over orochimaru.

tsukuyomi is only good agaisnt people who haven't fought agaisnt sharigan users. yeah yeah, itachi can get you by lifting his finger but minato being a genuis would ccounter it.any of itachi fire style techs would be useless agaisnt speed.

I will admit, itachi v.s minato would be hard,. but agaisnt a person who is good at spamming ftg will win with high dif, (that's if he's caught in tsukuyomi.

and yeah, itachi has yata mirror and can seal with one shot, ftg can evade anything right beofre it hits, as shown agaisnt the raikage. plus minato only activated level 2. which would say there is a 3rd level or a final one. plus, yata mirror only work with people who spam element techs. itachi doesn't have enough chakra to dead with minato.

minato takes the win first
1.itachi does not even have more chakra than kakashi so he cant spam yata mirror and susanoo like everyone thinks and minato can more than keep up chakra wise:ice:
2.minato is a master when it comes to placing tags on people in hand to hand combat and once itachi has a tag on him its all over even soosano would be useless
3.ftg has different levels not just the same one we have seen over and over again kishi made that clear but yet we have only seen one so be prepared for a stronger level

4.and as we have seen he has enormous chakra reserves being able to cover a tbb and the enormouse body of kurama in chakra and still have enough chakra to keep fighting like nothing as shown

5.there is so much hype on itachi yata mirror but minato has an even stronger defence that stoped even a tbb his s/t barrier and with the s/t barreir he can sentd the opponents atack back at him so with the geniuse that he is if itachi attacks with totsuka sword or anything els he can send it back at him

so while itachi is imcapeble of even touching minato minato can attack frome all angles with giant rasengans and when itachi chakra gives out and susanoo is undun then its all over

6.and we cant forget minato is a master sealer bieng able to contain the nine tails in kushina while the seal was practicly undun

7.and he isnt only fast with ftg he can blitz and has very fast reflexes
so minato >>itachi anyday

Not much is known about his overall abilities besides stm. I have a feeling that he doesn't

I ran an NRP for multiple years, so I'm not some imbecile. The shinobi that have fallen victim to itachi's genjutsu were nowhere near minatos level. Amaterasu and Susanoo are our of the question to hit the shinobi who is basically the fastest in the narutoverse.

Also the fact that itachi lacks EMS, which he'll need in a fight against a shinobi of Minato's caliber. This makes him susceptible to going blind or using up all of his chakra. His speed is nowhere near Minato's, which would make his taijutsu inferior. The Sharingan can easily read moves, but it's different when Minato can break through the space time barrier. Minato is also capable of transporting attacks through a space time barrier making a lot of ninjutsu ineffective. So unless Itachi's genjutsu is on Shisui's level, he's gonna have a difficult ****in time defeating Minato.

P.S: I'm a Madara fan mostly, but people need to give Minato his proper respect.

How Minato end his fight against Itachi really quickly

He is too fast for him, so he blitz him at the begin of the fight and manage to put his marking. From this moment, the fight is over no matter what Itachi tries. So Itachi cuz he has knowledge, will try to avoid this case by protecting himself with Susanoo, but the problem is "FTG". With FTG there is no escape. He put his markings on the Susanoo or around it so that he could teleport attacks or even himself near his markings in other to kill Itachi. Even Susanoo won't help. Game over :noc:
