Not really, the Fire God Slayer and Natsu were nothing alike, one was simply outrageously stronger than the other, while using the same magic. It was simply a question of finding the weakness in his personality and overcome it.

In this case, Wendy and and Sky God Slayer are perfectly alike, though the Sky God Slayer is not only stronger but more confident. In this case, what has to happen is a change in Wendy's attitude, and not her opponent's, which will overall improve her as a character.

Or just another story where fairy tail love and friendship overcomes everything, even love and friendship in other guilds.

This is why FT can't touch Rave Master, Hiro was on a good streak with FT, but god slayers now? Whats next? Ice cream slayers? Pervert slayers? Elemental Slayers? Dragon god Slayers? So this whuts her name was raised by gods now? Not even Demi-gods or fake deities, but gods? Oh and now Zeref is getting thrown into the equation, lemme guess Zeref is the Dark god slayer. ~_~. One thing though, is that Acnologia reminds me of Endless.

@Scaze - apparently you werent paying attention when Natsu used Fire Dragon God Slayer Magic before the new arc started huh?

Till now I just considered Zancrow's boasting about 'god slaying magic' some cocky choice of words, but apparently, similar to Dragon Slaying Magic, it's a special set of magic.

Zancrow = Fire God Slayer

Orga = Lightning God Slayer (till know I never really linked the black fire and the black lightning because it seemed like just a coincidence, but seeing his face after Shelia used black wind, he's probably part of that set)

Shelia = Sky God Slayer

=> all fall under the God Slaying Magic.

Next chapter Wendy's probably going to do what Natsu did to Zancrow, she'll empty/run of of magic and then eat the godslayers wind, maybe she'll probably be able to pull off milky way, the other spell she didn't master.

This fights been a lot better than the previous ones, it could possibly be two chapters of fighting instead of what we've been getting.

I think you really should not take that 'god-aspect' seriously. That has been made pretty clear in the fight between Zancrow and Natsu that that 'god' thing is just a metaphor as it was master Hades/Purehito who taught Zancrow that magic. It became very clear when Zancrow said that Purehito could be very well be considered a god on which Natsu replied that he still wasn't one, while Igneel, a real dragon, taught him Dragon Slaying magic. The reason as why it's called god-slaying magic is probably just because it's considered such powerful magic it could potentially kill a 'god'. So I sincerely doubt there is something that corresponds to those 'gods' like there are really dragons that correspond to Dragon Slaying magic.

In the least it's going to be a draw. I find it very hard to believe Hiro would let Wendy loose, especially because FT B already lost to Lamia Scale and Wendy lost to the RT guy.
