The Byakuugan was praised so much in Part 1. Kishimoto ruined it. Neji could've been one of the strongest characters in the series. He had a truckload of potential. Kishimoto trolled him and the Hyuuga clan...What a waste.

I completely agree ...It's a shame how many characters that were Epic in part-1 , were ruined and completely trolled in Part-2 especially Neji

I always admired Neji in... PART 1.
He was like, the most scariest character in... PART 1
Now, he's comparable to Sakura in... PART 2
He's good and all, but he needs a Power boost. Everybody else it like, getting
10x stronger while Neji's still in the backseat. Not that I'm one of those guys who agrees with everything the whole thread says like some people, but it's like they forgot Neji...

I agree that he deserves better, but I still don't think he's weak storywise. More like pushed aside to make space for other characters. I like Neji, and he did shine in the chuunin exam part which was my absolute favorite part of Naruto. So yeah I think he should be power-wise just a notch below Gaara

that's your opinion ....but my opinion , is that he should've been more invested into the story .., currently he is just some shinobi (almost fodder) in the war ...while the guys that used to be his equals in part-1 currently : Gaara is fighting The legendary Uchiha Madara as the Kazekage of the allied shinobi force ...Sasuke is pretty much the second main character in the series so yeah
