Hiruzen put under Kotoamatsuki?!?!

Okay guys so I was reading the chapter and I stumbled upon this page

Hiruzen wanted to speak to the Uchiha in peace, he didn't want any conflict. Then we see this page when it looks like Danzo is running the show, he is talking to Itachi about going through with it. I doubt he could persuade the hokage but could he have put him under Koto? Danzo was already in possession of Shisui's eye.

What do you guys think? The 3rd being controlled to allow the Uchiha clan massacre?

Shisui already used kotoamatsukami before danzo took that eye, and since danzo didn't have the uchiha's sharingan arm yet because the massacre didn't happen which means he didn't have senju dna yet, so i don't think he could have used it. The hokage was just out voted by the other elders. I had this same theory before i thought about this though.

As a lot of other people point out, Kotoamatsukami stops working if the target finds out he's influenced by it, and Itachi's Sharingan can see chakra, so it's still plausible but less likely

Hiruzen didn't want to succumb to violence, but then all of a sudden he allowed the massacre to happen when it wasn't his intention to. Sorry if I didn't clarify properly.

I doubt it, it would be lame if the whole series was run by danzo etc.. kabuto's mum, hiruzen, itachi. Danzo is dead I think kishi would reveal if he used KA these times. Hiruzen said he was going to talk with the uchiha and wanted time? where is KA used? danzo gave itachi a choice one to save his little brother one for everyone to die, he chose his little brother, where is KA used here?

This is just an assumption. Just because the massacre had not happened yet, it doesnt mean Danzou didnt already have Hashi's cells. This was something seperate that Orochimaru was researching for him. Also, we see at this stage in life his entire arm is still covered. He may have implanted Hashi's cells before actually getting the Sharigan. My thread is simular to this, but this idea is where we differ.

Also, we dont know that Danzou did this with the approval of the Kage. The last scene we saw, was the Kage saying we will find a peaceful way to end the fight. And later we see Danou ALONE giving Itachi the order to kill everyone.

I think it is very possible that Danzou used KOTO on Hiruzen.

That's why he had Danzo and his 2 consultents, they were going to vote on what to do based on the 4 individuals.

Uh... NO. The Kage IS the dictator.

If you dont think so, look at the dialog. Everyone said that they wanted the Uchiha to die, but the Hokage says he will talk to them first if Itachi buys him some time. And Tsunade when against the wishes of the Elders as well. NO ONE LISTENS TO THEM lol.
