In the latest chapter there is a scene with Itachi speaking to Danzou infront of a shrine or temple with 2 huge statues on either side. The statue on the left looks incredible like Madara's susanoo. Multiple Heads and arms carrying weapons and 2 sets of eyes very much like the sacred stone showed the eternal mangekyo sharigan with 2 sets of eyes. If I were to assume it's a statue of sasanoo. Then what does the other Statue represent. What do you think?

Pretty sweet. Looks to me like the other statue might represent the Goddesses that Izanagi and Izanami are based off of. In fact, for those who don't know, all of the Sharingan jutsus derive their names from japanese creation mythology ;P

you are correct sir thats exactly what the statues represent theres similar statues in the museum in japan and they almost the same but the only difference is that none of them have four eyes and the weapon being hold is a sword...so +rep to you man for doing your research:D

I thought they were Indian statues, one representing Shivá (path of destruction) and other representing Brahmá (path of peace).
And that Itachi followed the path of destruction.

Here is something from chapter 386. When Itachi talks about Madara and his brother and about the EMS. The 4 eye thing looks alot like what was on that statue. Still it would be interesting if the right statue has some relations to the Rinnegan. Not alot has been said about that at all and yet we have heard so much about the Sharingan, MS, and EM.
